This lady popped up about ten feet away from where I was standing. A crowd formed and some young people had some nice words to say, as the crowd behind them chanted passionately. At one point the lady put her signs down.

during the April 2012 production of Seed Folks of Malden by the Immigrant Theater Group at The Immigrant Learning Center, Inc.(ILC). This production was inspired by the book Seed Folks by Paul Fleischman about an ethnically diverse community that transforms an empty lot into a vibrant community garden.
The Immigrant Theater Group is comprised of adult immigrants and refugees who are studying English at The ILC. They use theater as a way of improving their language skills and sharing their immigrant experience with the community.
