You might that it is a mural, that bicycle, at least that was my first impression too, but it isn't! It's a real one, hanging in the fence.

While it may at first glance look as though there is a pool of water, the sheen of water that covered the top of the rock at the center of the image was sufficient to reflect the blue of the sky to the camera's sensor.

Это село Осенево в Ярославской области. Главная каменная церковь воздвигнута в 1783 году, но село гораздо старше.
Ночью были заморозки и хорошо, что не шел снег. Приехали мы примерно за полтора часа до рассвета. Я обрадовался, что будет достаточно времени, чтобы найти хорошую точку для съемки. Но, всегда есть но. Я забыл теплые стельки в сапоги и теплые носки, они продолжали сохнуть в номере гостиницы. Не подавая вида, что мне холодно, я натягивал на себя резиновые сапоги. Чтобы не замерзнуть, мне нельзя было стоять на месте. Я ходил кругами вокруг штатива, изучил каждый стог сена в поле, пока мы ждали рассвета. Остальные участники этой авантюры недоумевали, отчего я такой бодрый...
Мы наблюдали речные туманы этим тихим утром, чувствовали запах мокрой травы, слушали пение просыпающихся птиц. После рассвета мы продолжили съемку простых деревенских пейзажей. Казалось бы, все просто замечательно и день пройдет без приключений, но... Когда мы наконец-то вернулись к машинам, подгоняемые голодом и прохладой, мы заметили, что колесо у одной их них спущено. Мы столпились вокруг колеса, пока тарахтел насос, как будто там было нечто удивительное. Кто-то услышал, что колесо подозрительно шипит. Решили его заменить, и когда мы его сняли, были действительно поражены - покрышка была разодрана изнутри. Такое вот жертвоприношение искусству. До сих пор гадаю, как долго мы ездили с разодранной покрышкой.

This is the village of Osenevo in the Yaroslavl region. The main stone church was erected in 1783, but the village is much older.
There were frosts at night and it was good that it did not snow. We arrived about an hour and a half before dawn. I was glad that there would be enough time to find a good vantage point. But, there is always a but. I forgot warm insoles in boots and warm socks, they continued to dry in the hotel room. Not giving the appearance that I was cold, I pulled on my rubber boots. In order not to freeze, I could not stand still. I walked around the tripod in circles, examining every haystack in the field as we waited for dawn. The rest of the participants in this adventure wondered why I was so cheerful ...
We watched the river mists this quiet morning, smelled the wet grass, listened to the songs of waking birds. After dawn, we continued shooting simple rural landscapes. It would seem that everything is just fine and the day will pass without incident, but ... When we finally returned to the cars, driven by hunger and coolness, we noticed that one of them had a flat tire. We crowded around the car wheel like there was something amazing there while the pump rumbled. Someone heard that the wheel hissed suspiciously. We decided to replace it, and when we took it off, we were really amazed - the tire was torn from the inside. Such is the sacrifice for art. I still wonder how long we drove with a torn tire.
