These are photos from Ignite Lincoln 5. We were thrilled to be a part of Ignite Lincoln. Speakers are given 5 minutes and 20 slides to speak about their ideas and passion. This year, a handful of nonprofits even got a chance to compete for a $5,000 donation, which was voted on by the audience at the end. What a great way to support local organizations!
Ignite Boulder was a blast once again! This forth installment took place on April 29th, 2009 at a larger venue, CHEM140 (how appropriate for our twitter generation). It provided more than adequate seating for 420+ people that belted loud cheers, boos and everything in between. Presentations were once again exceptional, check out Ignite Boulder website for more details and information on when video will be available.
A huge thank you to Rande, who handled all the venue issues. Kath was the resident mic wrangler, and Craig Kindal handled the video again (will post that shortly). Larkin lead the clean up charge, huge thanks! Also big thanks to ProPhotoRental for providing me with a rental 70-200mm f/2.8L IS Canon Lens So I didn't have to be in the face of the presenters for close up shots.
Ignite Phoenix 11 was Friday, October 28, 2011. The idea is 18 speakers are selected to speak about what they are passionate about. They have 5 min, 20 slides. The slide automatically advance every 15 seconds. Friday we heard presentations about roller derby, stick and poke tattoos, the economics of the zombie apocalypse. If at any time you do not care for a topic just wait 5 minutes and something else will be presented
