an idea Ephran came up with ages back and we only managed to get photos just the other night.
its out of my norm of pretty faces ....but Ephran has a great eye for detail and a wonderful imagination, so i don't hesitate when he wants to dress me up !
He mostly played with the photography, but i did one shot of my own.
Thank you for a wonderful night of your company Eph.

Idea leuconoe, the paper kite, rice paper or large tree nymph,[1] is known especially for its presence in butterfly houses and live butterfly expositions. It has a wingspan of 12 to 14 cm. The paper kite is of Southeast Asian origin, but can also be found in Northern Australia and Southern Taiwan.
Larvae feed on Parsonsia species, Tylophora hispida, Parsonsia helicandra, Parsonsia spiralis, and Cynanchum formosanum[2] so both the butterfly and larva are poisonous.
At times, we thought we were in a real rally: our 4X4 drivers gave the impression to race, the odometer exceeded the 90 km/h (56 mph) on the track, all in the middle of clouds of dust.
I was never afraid, however, because they drove very well, and the 4x4 were so well suspended that we were practically not shaken.
Here, our driver had started with a bang and got a little ahead. Then, he had the good idea to stop us at the top of a hill, the time to make us admire 2 other cars of our expedition that were rushing behind us to catch up with us.

One of my attempts at the "Macro Mondays" theme "New".
While I got the feeling that I learned a few things over the last couple of years as far as photography is concerned, I‘m afraid to have reached a point of stagnation when it comes to making music. That‘s why I absolutely want to work on new ideas for compositions and try to do some real musical experimentation in the upcoming year.
Shot with a Friedrich "S-Coronar 25 mm F 1.4" lens on a Canon EOS R5.
For "Macro Mondays" theme of "pair"
This started off as a quick photograph on the basis of 'I wonder what would happen if'!
Having taken it and posted it during this week the intention was to develop the idea, but the more I looked at the basic simplicity and shading of colour, the more I liked this result. To me, the composition seems interesting enough with just a slight tension.
So best not to mess I concluded, and it's gone into MM.
A very simple arrangement of two small bottles on a sheet of A4 paper and lit with a single LCD table lamp.
Colour balance 'in camera'.

Another hot and smoky day. I didn't go out, so I had to do some archive diving. This Great Blue Heron has the right idea...stay wet to stay cool. Dunk your head, even if you're not really catching a fish.
We've parted many times before and thru the dimensions of time our souls have remained connected.
When you are with me I always feel at peace and you come to know the truth.
You are a very important soul.
I send you my love and feel the wonderful energy of the Mother Earth enveloping you.
So far so good. :-)
Love is connected by many things.

I had no idea what I was going to do today for a photo, and then a bulb lit up. Literally. Tesco had some awesome filament bulbs, so we bought a couple. This is not what I envisioned, mainly because I wanted it to be my hand because I knew how I wanted it to look, but I could not figure out how to trigger the shutter because my IR remote is not working. I think I was just too tired to get it perfect.

Force of Nature - Steam Rocket Bike
Steam Rocket Bike
Steam Rocket Bike
'Force of Nature' is a steam powered 'Rocket' motorcycle built for drag racing, record breaking, exhibitions and events. It uses the latent energy of super-heated pressurised water released through De laval nozzles, where it turns to steam and creates the thrust to propel the bike forwards.
The design brief was to create a Rocket bike like no other: Build quality to rival THE BEST, as well as unique green credentials. No proprietary motorcycle parts were to be used unless they were deemed un-improvable! The idea was to build a steam powered Rocket bike with a potential speed of 200+mph, which had never been achieved before.
Chief designer and engineer Graham Sykes has been involved in straight-line motorsport since 1979. Graham has worked on many prestigious projects including six years as race engineer for Vauxhall's championship winning British and European Touring Car Team, engineer and key team member for the 'Firestorm' jet powered dragster and is currently part of the engineering team working on '52 Express', a world land speed record motorcycle.
