Idea leuconoe, the paper kite, rice paper or large tree nymph,[1] is known especially for its presence in butterfly houses and live butterfly expositions. It has a wingspan of 12 to 14 cm. The paper kite is of Southeast Asian origin, but can also be found in Northern Australia and Southern Taiwan.

Larvae feed on Parsonsia species, Tylophora hispida, Parsonsia helicandra, Parsonsia spiralis, and Cynanchum formosanum[2] so both the butterfly and larva are poisonous.

While I got the feeling that I learned a few things over the last couple of years as far as photography is concerned, I‘m afraid to have reached a point of stagnation when it comes to making music. That‘s why I absolutely want to work on new ideas for compositions and try to do some real musical experimentation in the upcoming year.

Apple wasn't the most original idea but I had apples and that's what I chose.

Para mi amiga Isa que está de cumple.

Muchísimas felicidades, niña.

If I were a duck, I think I would prefer to stand on the rock to eat, rather than fighting the frigid current.

I had no idea what I was going to do today for a photo, and then a bulb lit up. Literally. Tesco had some awesome filament bulbs, so we bought a couple. This is not what I envisioned, mainly because I wanted it to be my hand because I knew how I wanted it to look, but I could not figure out how to trigger the shutter because my IR remote is not working. I think I was just too tired to get it perfect.

Is 37407 "Blackpool Tower" hauling the Severn Tunnel rescue train in this shot? I'm not sure. Seen here passing Coed Kernew back in 1998. Canon EOS3, Fuji Superior 200.

Today I took a stroll through sun-drenched Roma Street Parkland and I came across this rather novel idea, in the form of a man made 'ball' hanging from a ceiling hook. I am going to have a go at doing something similar.

the plant, which contains a mixture of compost and worm 'poo' is enveloped in sphagnum moss then bound with string.

alternate title "socket man" ;-)

behind the scenes coming soon here.

very different from my usual pictures, eh? I have been really stuck for ideas lately and when I do shoot a picture it hasn't been seeming to work out. anyway, here's to new ideas and new photographs.
