The renovation of the new Crowne Plaza in Christchurch November 9, 2015 New Zealand.
idealog.co.nz/design/2015/04/designworks-daunting-task-re...
Mt Taranaki means 'shining peak' in Maori ( or Mt Egmont as named by Capt Cook). The title quote is from the Steinlarger NZ beer advert' with Harvey Keitel it refers to both our nuclear free status and GE free status despite the then Labour-led governments sometimes duplicity on the latter. Modern so called free trade deals whether with China , India or the USA compromise us .(Some ad people like the use of US actors some bloggers don't
idealog.co.nz/magazine/16/were-drinking-our-beer-here )
Sustainability of the environment-general action required local and global.Like keeping videos off Flickr, a photography site.
The 'brand' here is New Zealand. Not so sure the business idea or theory of 'pure' works so well !
Dairy farmers will have to keep NZs image authentically 'clean and green' by fencing around our rivers to prevent waste from cattle and sheep polluting rural streams and rivers.Polluter pays as many though as 33% dairy farmers might not be complying .This while there are increased profits from the diary industry via 'Fonterra' a multinational dairy-milk monopoly based here, who unfortunately tarnish our image more with deals mixing milk from other places ,deals with Nestles and little 'country of origin' labelling that the NZ public deserve. Meanwhile in a globalised share economy our local milk prices increase in the international commodity market.Where is the future proofing responsibility? Do adults even need to drink such quanties of A1 milk from other mammalian species? The Asian markets are now starting to use more diary.Local consumers have the power to boycott or bring profiteers into line if they are not respecting the public or consumers. There's is a major environment report out this week in NZ now finally focusing on the preservation of our countryside.
We like our nuclear free ,GM-freeNZ (three non genetically engineered marches in Auckland see pictures of the one during Oct 2003 under 'AkSamba' now on Flickr) status here more discerning like the EU-Europe hopefully.
'Fonterra' already blame higher milk or cheese prices on the international use of crops for biofuel. Near Tokoroa in the North Island aggrieved private forresters are considering chopping down trees to convert to more dairy farms! They feel now they are not getting enough of the nations credit for carbon sinks. Jobs would be also lost. The diary industry have more time and government subsidies to slowly respond to climate change somewhat the expense of the public. Some cowardice towards this Federated Farmers lobby? South Island rivers are having much of their catchment used to irrigate diary farms to the annoyance of anglers and fishermen. There's either too much regulation here or too little. So a third of dairy farmers are ruining it for the many with 'run-off' pollution adding to the methane gas issue the ruiminant animals produce which are a significant part of or Climate change-agricultural problem. We are not good at public transport either. Meanwhile an advert appears on tv encouraging people to join and profit from the dairy sector as butter is now almost $5 for 500 grams! The European Food Safety Authority will do more testing on the benefits of A2 protein in milk and possible links to diabetes with the traditional western A1 milk, Iceland being an exception.

i shall be become a paper plane engineer...my first good idea in a long time :)...pure genius i tell you!

The renovation of the new Crowne Plaza in Christchurch November 9, 2015 New Zealand.
idealog.co.nz/design/2015/04/designworks-daunting-task-re...
We did a halfsies deal for lunch today so we could taste 2 of the raved about Paseo sandwiches. The ravers are raving for a reason.
On the left, you have the pulled pork sandwich. The one on the right is also pork, but grilled. These are both alpha sandwiches and deciding which is better would be literally like Sophie's Choice... ok, not literally because they are sandwiches, but you get it.
They have no website and no menus because they are alread busier than they can handle, but a sly blogger posted photos of the menu as a public service.
This sandwich is a part of my dedication to this year's resolutions. Join me, won't you?
