Ubicada a dos horas y media de la población de Torotoro se alza majestuosa la Ciudad de Itas, conocida localmente como "Wacapacana". Este peculiar destino está formado por enormes rocas que adoptan el parecido a unas atalayas.
El conjunto de laberintos pétreos que conducen a innumerables cavernas estrechas; la existencia de una serie de rocas erosionadas, además de la presencia de pinturas rupestres, ubican a la Ciudad de Itas como una de las zonas turísticas más interesantes de la zona.
A medida que uno se va internando a esta metrópoli pétrea, paulatinamente va descubriendo impresionantes formaciones rocosas cuya erosión gradual se dio por efecto de un antiguo mar, la lluvia y el viento.

This is the view from our upstairs balcony. We moved to Florida about a year and a half ago from the north and I never get tired of seeing Palm trees, beautiful sunrises and the mist over the wetlands. I love my new home :)
So much, I speak of Grandmother Moon, but

One who shines,
under which we grow, bathing us today in Your life-giving presence.
Let me reflect You,
may I draw up Your power, that which sears but also coaxes, and reflect it.
Let me be a prism, casting rainbows. Casting intentions.
But, today I am mourning for we see You wane. For so long You were arriving and now,
You start to move toward rest. I am not ready.
Let me gather You up in water, pour it over me and drink of You.
I’ll take the bounce, I’ll find my way through the dark nights coming, Your memory in my all-seeing mind’s eye.
I have this sadness. It is poignant. What will we do when You leave us to our doings?
Today I am foolish but I’ll make myself a beacon.
Oh, give us some more months of Your glimmer while I prepare for Your solemn leave-taking.
I’ll be a battery. I’ll feast on Your bounty, all the colors of the things that grow in Your light from the earth and they will become me. My skin soaks in the intensity of Your light until
I change underneath it.
We will carry You, project it. As I move my hands in little undulations as I do, lips softly muttering the seeds I sow, I’ll let a little of You escape, imbue.
Things that grow from me are in Your sacred name.

La Terrasse, un des 24 jardins thématiques du jardin Daniel A. Séguin, 3211 rue Sicotte, Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada.
La Fondation en horticulture ornementale de l’ITA (Institut de technologie agroalimentaire) campus de Saint-Hyacinthe, un organisme à but non lucratif, administre le Jardin depuis 1987. Elle le développe grâce à l’appui des partenaires de l’industrie horticole. La promotion du Jardin et le développement des connaissances de l’horticulture ornementale au Québec constituent l’essentiel de son mandat.
En 1995, la Fondation est parvenue à offrir à la communauté un jardin pédagogique de 4,5 hectares divisés en 24 jardins thématiques. Depuis, le principal objectif est d’en assurer la pérennité, au bénéfice des générations présentes et futures, tout en faisant valoir tout son potentiel. Le Jardin est en autres reconnu pour sa collection de plantes annuelles et les projets d’évaluation et de démonstration qui s’y rattachent.

Em 1978, a população de Itá recebia a notícia da construção de uma Usina, onde a Cidade iria desaparecer.
Tudo foi demolido... somente a igreja foi mantida...
A cidade foi toda planejada e reconstruída, logo acima da outra...
Da “nova cidade” pode-se ver a igreja e o lago Uruguai, que sem duvida são uns dos maiores atrativos turísticos!!
Itá se localiza no estado de Santa Catarina, mais especificamente no oeste catarinense!!
In 1978, the population of Itá received the news of the construction of a plant, where the city would disappear.
Everything was demolished ... Only the church has been maintained ...
The whole city was planned and rebuilt, just above the other ...
The "new city" can see the church and lake Uruguay, which are without doubt one of the major tourist attractions!
Itá is located in the state of Santa Catarina, specifically in western Santa Catarina!
