Not necessarily for the beautiful Reah, the 11 year old chocolate lab and her Dad Rich, whom we met at the beginning of our assent of Y Garn and the Nantlle Ridge.
If the dog could do it then I could too, though I must point out that fortunately they didn't have to lift me over the styles! And though I really really appreciate the views, the experience and the fact I can actually do it if I take my time and hold on tight......it's a lot easier on my chest, knees and nerves partaking in a nice LE by the sea 😊
... my late aunt's kitchen clock ... it doesn't work anymore, but I keep it nonetheless as it's a lovely memento and always shows coffee time : ))
Crazy Tuesday - theme of September 7, 2021: Time
Happy (Crazy) Tuesday !!
~ I will catch up with you tonight ~
Orchids in general look like little alien plants, their open mouths and dramatic pose makes them truly look alive! HMM
I don't know why
You think that you could hold me
When you couldn't get by
By yourself
And I don't know who would ever want to tear the seam
Of someone's dream
Baby, it's fine,
You said that we should just be friends
Well, I came up with that line
And I'm sure that it's for the best
If you ever change your mind,
Don't hold your breath
'Cause you may not believe,
That, baby, I'm relieved,
When you said goodbye,
My whole world shined
It's a beautiful day and I can't stop myself from smiling
If we're drinking, then I'm buying
And I know there's no denying
It's a beautiful day, the sun is up, the music's playing
And even if it started raining
You won't hear this boy complaining
'Cause I'm glad that you're the one who got away
It's a beautiful day
As the Agapanthus begin to unfurl in my garden, a fresh purpose greets the day. It's moments like these, witnessing nature's simple artistry, that compel this old guy to grab his camera and seek out beauty.
Known as Lily-of-the-Nile or African Lily, this herbaceous perennial, hailing from South Africa, graces us with its magnificent blue or white blooms, poised elegantly atop slender stalks—a truly captivating subject.
"Time of the Season" is a song by the American rock band The Zombies, released in 1968. It was written by keyboardist Rod Argent and became their biggest hit, reaching number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1969.

There's magic in the air
Everywhere, in the summer
Don't you know it's summer time
And the livin' is easy, so easy...
Without a doubt, Jasper's favorite part of the day is play time. It's funny, when we go outside to play frisbee, Jasper spins in circles several times like he's winding up to go catch the thing. 52 Weeks for Dogs "favorite part" challenge

Valencia, Friday night in the Barrio Ruzafa
Friday night - I have to remember this hit from Italy - it's Friday again and it's always the same - in every city where students live - on Friday evening the city changes with the people and that's life.
This is a Birthday Card I received many moons ago. Though as each year passes it amuses me more for some reason....🤔.
I took it to the park to add some interest to it.....
It's funny the number of conversations I have that end in having a beer....😁.
Happy Smile On Saturday 😁.
Thanks for visiting.....
Winter has settled over the forests, lakes and marshes of my home. This landscape is from a nearby marsh, in the cold hours of the afternoon. The marsh has been covered in both snow and ice.
Since it is already December, I am letting Christmassy things, such as music, creep quietly into my soul and heart.

Today I feel like a bear slowly waking up from its winter sleep. Even though winter isn't over yet, I feel more alive than before. It was quiet for so long and then boom ✨

I was blown away.
What could I say?
It all seemed to make sense.
You've taken away everything,
And I can't deal with that.
I try to see the good in life,
But good things in life are hard to find.
We'll blow it away, blow it away.
Can we make this something good?
Well, I'll try to do it right this time around.
Let's start over.
I'll try to do it right this time around.
It's not over.
'Cause a part of me is dead and in the ground.
This love is killing me,
But you're the only one.
It's not over.
Taken all I could take,
And I cannot wait.
We're wasting too much time
Being strong, holding on.
Can't let it bring us down.
My life with you means everything,
So I won't give up that easily.
I'll blow it away, blow it away.
Can we make this something good?
'Cause it's all misunderstood.
Well, I'll try to do it right this time around.
The River Shiel only runs for a few miles linking the very long Loch Shiel to the sea and Loch Moidart. It's beauty is striking and may cause the visitor or observer to go blind to the sight of golden and white-tailed eagles, ospreys, otters, pine marten and deer. It's beauty befuddles their brains amd convinces them there are no wildlife to be seen in the area, much like Horatio Nelson using a telescope and proclaiming, "I see no ships!" A chance meeting with the genial gamekeeper may have put the record straight as he had photographic evidence with him, but I do know of one recent visitor who left swearing he hadn't seen anything.

The Chainsmokers - Don't Let Me Down
Crashing, hit a wall
Right now I need a miracle
Hurry up now, I need a miracle
Stranded, reaching out
I call your name but you're not around
I say your name but you're not around
I need you, I need you, I need you right now
Yeah, I need you right now
So don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down
I think I'm losing my mind now
It's in my head, darling, I hope
That you'll be here, when I need you the most
So don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down
D-don't let me down
Don't let me down

I don't feel sorry for myself
Care if your hands touch somebody else
Wouldn't get jealous if you're happy
It's okay if you forget me
I don't feel empty now that you're gone
Does that mean it didn't mean nothing at all?
But I'll tell you what the worst is
It's the way it doesn't hurt
When I wish it did
And before you know it - it's gone. Enjoy the day, enjoy each other, enjoy life.
Much love, peace and happiness to all of you today. And everyday.
I know you're feeling it....the craziness that goes with the season. Concerts, pageants, rehearsals, parties, and somehow Santa is supposed to be prepared too. (I may be looking for a Christmas miracle on that last one.) It feels like everything and everyone is moving at full speed.
So with a little encouragement, I got up Saturday morning and I took some time to slow down. (NOT my forte!) I left the house shortly after 6:00 and went to Cape Spear. It was here I waited and watched the sun rise at the most easterly point in North America. -9 degrees, windy, and cold but with runny nose and all, it still felt perfect. So it is these good vibes I'm taking into the busy week ahead and sending out all the extra good feels to all those that need them!
Happy new day all!
yes it has. i haven't uploaded anything in a while, due to a busy schedule and a lack of inspiration. it makes me sad to realize that i've barely picked up my camera in the past month :/

Every winter I forget summer. I forget the smells in the air. The feeling of warm air on my skin. Even the bugs. It all goes away and when summer comes back it feels fresh every time.
It's the first of June. Three months of summer still left to enjoy. After that I forget what this beautiful season is like. I hope that this photo can help me remember during the dark, long winter months.
