Shri Kishore Jha, an IPS officer is currently in charge Director General of Police Tripura. Shri Kishore Jha, IPS belongs to the 1982 Batch of the Manipur Tripura Cadre. Since his joining the Tripura part of the cadre in 1984 after the basic training, Shri Kishore Jha has worked in various capacities in the state and in central organizations.

Quaiser Khalid, Commissioner of Police Railways Mumbai is an officer of the Indian Police Service. He is a 1997 batch IPS officer having wide experience in law and order management, crime control, anti-insurgency operations, mega city policing, traffic management, Human Resource Management, etc He has been trained in India and abroad especially at Charles Stuart University, Australia and University College of London. He is a noted Public Speaker and has taken many sessions on Motivation, Career Counselling, Security, Police Work, Etc. He is also a poet of Urdu and Hindi languages. He has written two anthologies of Urdu poetry, consisting of ghazals and nazms, and is the recipient of the Maharashtra State Urdu Sahitya Academy Award.

A Victorian photograph of the Ipswich Fire Brigade with their horse drawn, steam powered water pump. In 1918 the brigade took delivery of their first motor powered tender when a Model T Ford arrived at the Bond Street fire station.
There was plenty of staff to deal with passengers at Ipswich Station when this photograph was taken in 1895.
