U-M IOE Senior Design Expo lead Prakash Sathe poses for a portrait at the inaugural Senior Design Expo at the Johnson Rooms in the Lurie Engineering Building on April 19, 2024.
The Senior Design Expo featured 20 student projects that were conducted for corporations such as Ford, Vogue Furniture, Neapco, Mayo Clinic, Hyundai, Gemline, General Motors, DTE and many more. Each group spent their semester working with the companies to solve real-world problems.
The first place team — made up of Adam Thompson, Peiyu Wang, Jialin Wen and Jiayi Zhang — worked with the Mayo Clinic.
