Inkwell
The friendship is long lost but this little token has sat on every desk I have worked at.
Door of the largest brick building of the Netherlands, nicknamed the Inkwell (Inktpot). This former National Railways building is from 1918-1921, and was originally named Hoofdadministratiegebouw III (Head Administrative Office III). It is now in use as head office of Dutch railway infrastructure company Prorail.

As a side note: it is also the landing site of an UFO ;-)

Happy Window Wednesday
on Thursday . . .
One of my very favorite things to do is arrange small bouquets on our kitchen windowsill. After seeing an inkwell on my Maine friend's windowsill, I realized as a lettering artist, there were quite a few just hanging around my studio . . . what better way to put them to good use! Thanks again, Terry, for the inspiration!
