A very simple patchwork quilt, made with 12" squares of upcycled sheets. Also the very first thing I ever free motion quilted on my secondhand Husqvarna Viking Mega Quilter.

Now, if I can just find a secondhand quilting frame on the cheap, I'll be all set. ;)

I got mermaid/fish tail molds and I’m playing around to see what I can do with them.

Squid and chainmail D20 necklaces

--acrylic on 8" x 10" canvas board

--Completed May 2006

--Background of warm tones of lavenders, pinks, silvers, golds. I was going for an Arizona sunset quality.

--Foreground of Mars black

--Edges not 100% finished

--1 light coat of varnish

--Initialed in paint on front and in Sharpie on back

This piece began as a means to deal with a difficult time for me emotionally, wherein I felt my heart was breaking. It began with the heart in the center and worked outwards from there. It's meant to be hung as shown. This is the first time I've painted a background and left some of it exposed. I just couldn't cover up the patchy flow of colour on the left hand side.

This is probably my most emotionally fueled piece to date. Thusly, I've chosen to keep it.

Today I spent the entire morning putting up the ornaments on the tree (Hallmark - unboxing and storing boxes - I was so sick of it lol)

Then I knew I needed a hat for BaD Dec soooo I created this fun Jackie O style - it was hard cause I don't have a lot of yellow fabric and had to match a vintage fabric/dress. I think it turned out pretty cute considering ;D

It’s an emergency Tabasco Sauce to wear around your neck. All wrapped up pretty in chainmail, it’s even ready to join you in battle.

I’m winding down the mermaids to learn a new skill.

I love it when a plan comes together.

More pants for my nephew because I had fabric left over after making Charlie's sweats. I didn't get a picture of Charlie's before I wrapped them but they looked just like this except size 14.
