On our recent trip to the Pacific Northwest we were driving along Int 84 through Idaho and I came upon this vast beautiful farm that caught my eye. It was truly a beautiful scene and I just had to stop and take a picture of it. If you look closely you can see vehicles on Int 84 in the background :)
Blanco Brown - The Gitup
Alongside US Route 26 near Craters of the Moon National Monument, Idaho. Processed with Lightroom, Photoshop and Topaz filters.
I photograph many roads, but my favorite photographs of them are the ones where there's more to see than just the road. It's never just the road.

We burn events in a very fast time, everything passes in an instant. A few days and History appears consumed. It all seems far away just a month later. And then the meaning to what I do gives me the idea that there is someone who records the facts, the events and leaves testimony.

Thanks for stopping by, everything is always very appreciated
I spent Thanksgiving in Driggs Idaho. It is the Idaho side of the Grand Tetons. If you look closely, you'll see a little glimpse of the mountain peaks. Hopefully our next outing will have a few less clouds.

It was one of those spots with a photo everywhere you turned. Every angle, every direction, ever look, there was a photo.
The light was perfect. The sky was perfect. The colors and shades were perfect.
I spend nearly an hour parked on this road, and we shot until nearly dark.

Nice view out your front window, eh? My brother-in-law enjoyes this vista every day as he walks out the front door in Preston, Idaho.
I took three photos of this, but settled upon the second one. In the first, the road was more visible. And in the third, the composition was just weird - like I was just taking a photo to take a photo.

We happily photographed this crop duster who just might have been hamming it up for us a bit.
