I figured I better get some autumn photos as the trees are now bare due to weather changes around, sad the color doesn’t last long.

I Truogoli di Santa Brigida.
Questo è senza dubbio uno degli angoli più suggestivi di Genova. Al centro di una piazza tra Via Balbi e Via Pre si trovano i Truogoli di Santa Brigida, uno dei pochi lavatoi sopravvissuti all'avvento delle lavatrici.
La famiglia Balbi contribuì alla loro costruzione che risale addirittura al 1656, a quel tempo vicino ai lavatoi scorreva il rio di Santa Brigida che alimentava la fontana dei macellari, nella piazza trovava posto anche l'ospedale degli esposti destinato ai bambini abbandonati.
Oggi, i lavatoi, sono perfettamente conservati e l'elegante copertura metallica li rende particolarmente gradevoli

I hate Mondays… However, we have to start a new week and Monday seems like a very logical choice. Today we have Mr. Severed Hand with a red band aid on his finger… I will need a red band aid, for sure, to make it through this day. Lets hope it will turn out to be na awesome day ! Hey everyone! I'm excited to finally announce I'm back. I'll be having time to log on again, less than before I started the new job but still more than the almost never from the last 5 months, and I'll be back on Flickr too since my office will be complete some time next week. I'm so excited to catch up on all your photostreams and share with you some new shots I'm working in a new moody kind of series I'm making. I'm really excited to create again, and I've missed all of you a ton! I loved all the herons I saw on this trip. They included: Cocoi, Boat-billed, Capped, Zigzag, Fasciated, Striated and this pretty Rufescent Tiger-Heron.
I went for a walk in our nearby forest yesterday to my favourite little creek, and saw all these bubble coming down from a tiny "waterfall." I looked down and kept shooting the bubbles till I got a clear shot, because they kept bursting so fast! I ended up with kind of a selfie here, with the trees all around me, a world in a bubble.
I always liked this shot from last November, but never got around to posting it.

.. I see this bush that I never photograph because I dislike it .. but who am I to dislike this .. it simply ignores me too .. I don't care to be ignored so.. I photograph a tiny piece of it .. perhaps our relationship will improve.. or so I tell the voices in my head.

I recently rediscovered this beautiful old graveyard in Windsor, Ontario. As I wandered around on this sunny fall afternoon, I was thinking about these departed souls. As I begin my ‘golden years’, I’m reminded how quickly time goes and the need, even more then ever, to cherish every moment.

After a largely grey day when even i didn't feel like going down the beach, the skies finally cleared. When I arrived the tide was dropping and the fresh sand just starting to be exposed. The whole day was suddenly lit up by the setting sun . Lit up is by The National.
Juvenile Black-crowned Night Heron back at Wildwood Lake, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, after an 8-year absence. Several people think this might be a juvenile Yellow-crowned Night Heron. It's a toss up.
