As the unusual weather pattern of Winter 2016 continues, we enjoyed temperatures in the mid 60's this past weekend. So why not get a few exotics out and go for a cruise and photoshoot. It's odd to think just last weekend we were dealing with the aftermath of Winter Storm Jonas. Hopefully the groundhog doesn't see his shadow tomorrow and it's an early Spring.

El arte urbano no es quizás la imagen más típica de Escocia que todos tenemos en mente. Pero la mayor ciudad del país, Glasgow, es uno de los mejores lugares del planeta para ver street art. En el rincón menos esperado te encontrarás con dibujos urbanos de todo tipo llenos de color y creatividad que convierten solares vacíos, pareces grises, muros de espacios en construcción en verdaderas obras de arte.
Buena parte de los murales de Glasgow se pintaron por iniciativa del Ayuntamiento, que quiso llenar la ciudad de arte y cultura con motivo de los Juegos de la Commonwealth en 2014. Otros han surgido por el impulso de galerías de arte y estrellas del street art local. Esta expresión artística es tan efímera que cada mes surgen nuevos ejemplos de arte urbano en Glasgow. La mano de artistas como Smug, Rogue-One, Klingatron o Recoat se deja ver en muchos lugares de la ciudad del río Clyde. Sólo tienes que tener los ojos bien abiertos. Me apetecía incluir un coche junto con este mural, por suerte, no tuve que esperar mucho para que uno entrara en cuadro :)
