Shutter Speed: 1/800, Aperture: f/5.3, Iso: 560

Composition: I took this picture as Braiden was joking about eating dirt. I used natural lighting and framed Braiden at an angle almost through the diagonal of the frame because I was trying to crop out a busy background with lots of cars.

Likes: I really like how I captured Braiden's expression and how clear his features are.

Dislikes: I do not like the background. It's better than all the cars that I was able to crop out, but I wish the nearby puddle was in the background instead of the muddy tire tracks.

College kids have an interesting sense of humor. The students at the university in my town are encouraged to "decorate" certain sidewalks on campus and the two pedestrian tunnels which run under the main road through campus. boonedeals.com is a student project. Captured yesterday on a walk 'round town. I was standing just above the entrance to one of the tunnels.

Some of you may not know of the Blarney Stone in Ireland. You lay down on your back, stretch a bit and kiss it all while up side down, for Good Luck.

There is a Blarney Contest in Ireland. One contestant stood and addressed the panel of judges and audience. "One night the fog was so think on the moors I pushed my walking stick into the fog and hung my hat one it." Then sat down.

The next contestant stood very somberly and quietly stated "I believe him".

He won.
