Eyes without a face

Got no human grace

You're eyes without a face

2020 has been a tough year, but hopefully we are beginning to come together and stop the divide! We all belong to the human race and need to support one another and start to embrace one another!

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️

Humanity is the human race, which includes everyone on Earth. It’s also a word for the qualities that make us human, such as the ability to love and have compassion, be creative, and not be a robot or alien.

The word humanity is from the Latin humanitas for "human nature, kindness.” Humanity includes all the humans, but it can also refer to the kind feelings humans often have for each other. Awww. But when you talk about humanity, you could just be talking about people as a whole. When people do bad things, it tests your faith in humanity. When people ask for money to help feed starving children, they're appealing to your sense of humanity.

Our shame, today 10,000 refugees are currently stranded in Idomeni - caught in limbo between Greece and Macedonia because of unilateral border closures. They need our help desperately, they are all human beings, men, women and children, all made of flesh and blood, with feelings and hope, yet at the moment no help and very little hope! We, the world, must come together to help them it is our duty they are all part of the human race to which we belong, surely we are not going to turn our backs on our own?

Continuing with my Positive Flags of the Nations

project with a tribute to change the Human Family. We all belong to the human race no matter what colour, creed or sexual orientation, since when do we need to judge one another rather than to accept and embrace one another?

I have no special talent.

I am only passionately curious. - Albert Einstein

Joy in the universe, and keen curiosity about it all - that has been my religion. - John Burroughs

The four characteristics of humanism are curiosity, a free mind, belief in good taste, and belief in the human race. - E. M. Forster

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. - Albert Einstein

It's daring to be curious about the unknown, to dream big dreams, to live outside prescribed boxes, to take risks, and above all, daring to investigate the way we live until we discover the deepest treasured purpose of why we are here. -

There are a lot of accidents happening, and subsequently dying a lot of people while they cross the roads and streets. We don't care for an individual. We care human-race like the nature created us, just species are important. We have to change this tragedy, a single death is too much.

Only love unconditional can defeat fear, fear of others, fear of the unknown and the strong belief that good will always reign over anything anyone can do to us, the human race. Love believes, love endures and love makes us strong. Focus on our similarities and not our differences.

*Working Towards a Better World

We can start by loving our home country, branching out to those countries we have lived in, the country we live in and extending our love to the world. The human race is one and it is time we accepted and loved it!

Let's come together, care for our neighbors whoever they are!

Learn to work together, converse, debate, listen and make the human race a better flock! We can and we must do better, we ALL belong in this world!!!

We need the President of the U.S.A. to unite all Americans not divide them, also one who will work together with our allies in order to bring us together with countries throughout the world to find positive solutions. We need to learn tolerance, understanding, love, respect and a way to create positive dialogue between all races, genders and non-violent religions. Hate only divides, love is the only answer. Through love, we can learn to collaborate and find democratic and mutual solutions to our disagreements. We don't always agree but can spend time to find ways to work things out. We can start at home, continue into our communities, other countries and globally. We need to include everyone, no-one deserves not to have a home, education, food on the table and good health. If we all try we can find solutions to this tremendous problem and stop the greed and selfishness. Life is always more fun working together, nothing much is achieved alone. Let's get together and insist that our government works for all of us. There is room for everyone in this world, especially when hate, privilege, and power are eliminated.

Today I have decided to once again share my daughter, Karen Lewis's poem, which she wrote for my painting Coming Together, her words make even more sense today:

COMING TOGETHER

Asian, Latin, European, African,

Native, Indigenous, Foreign, Alien,

Descriptions that fall short,

vague splotches on the canvas of life.

All have but one heart that beats,

blood is but one color.

Flesh and Features, each unique

Organs and muscles, identical.

Each face a work of art

Each mark distinctively it's own.

The beauty of our differences

far surpasses mere mortal comprehension.

Each unmatched culture,

it's own vibrant combination of colors and sounds,

the pulsing of a nation, a people.

These different beats unite,

to make the music of our world.

As each exceptional voice blends with the other,

the harmony of humanity rises

high above the dark clouds of oppression and ignorance.

North, South, East, West,

a baby's cry is but the same.

The pang of hunger and indifference

changes not with skin color.

In the ears of every mother and father

every sister and brother

the cries of oppression should ring loud.

A call to action, a call to save our human family.

Our differences are but brush strokes on this canvas,

each unique in shape and color

when viewed together.....

form the masterpiece of mankind.

This is a collaborative work done in collaboration with my 6-year-old grandson, Niko Felton and all the children from 0-6 who participated in the Ringling Museum Education Center painting activities on July 13, 2018. It was a pleasure to see the pure joy on the children’s faces while they were freely creating individually and together to make 3 beautiful large paintings expressing free will, the ability to cooperate, the fun of learning and interacting. The time passed by so fast and was time well spent, several of the children would have stayed longer had the time allowed.

It is one in a series I have started to help us realize how important the family unit is and that no-one should be allowed to break it up.

Reading so many articles about children being forcefully separated from their families through war, greed and hunger make me realize that we artists must address this issue head-on. No family should have to resort to becoming a refugee in order to have a country, a home, food, good health, education and the ability to make a decent living. We all belong to the human race and therefore should help and respect one another it is the right and decent thing to do. If every country in the world got together to achieve this goal it would be possible so let us make it happen.

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

It is so strange how humans make it through this life. Sometimes people need to struggle to get through an ordinary day, but "some people" during the struggle they become their own enemy, defeating themselves from within. This kind of people who always choose the hardest way to face difficulties with the opponent, focus on others faults, refuse to forgive mistakes and judge unfairly. Those people don't find peace within their selves and they forget how to smile because they suffer loneliness in this world even when there are people all around, and that's how they become infected .. they become like Zombies !

My first time seeing this sweet little bird. This is a fall migrant - passing through.

The society has got a finite capacity to provide care for patients suffering from full-blown dementia, incl. Alzheimer’s disease.

Let’s consider a hypothetical situation in which the number of such patients suddenly and exponentially explodes into a skyrocketing value (e.g. 75–80% of the Earth’s population); in such a case there simply wouldn’t be enough beds available in appropriate institutions or enough caregivers. Such patients don’t even know their own name or address, so they would aimlessly wander around (without being looked after or even offered a decent meal) in a fashion similar to zombies’ in miscellaneous moody / horror films.

Dementia can ensue from organic damage to the brain (cerebral degeneration); so, any prion-related disease (such as Kuru and CJD) can also act as a cause of dementia.

How can we not see the horrors facing so many of our children today? All the people of the world belong to the human race and yet we seem not to care about our children, yes, they are ours! We all have the same body parts both inside and out, we may have different make ups in skin colours, eye shapes and profiles but we are all human!!! We live in different parts of the world but this does not give us an excuse not to become involved and care. It is important to be aware of the many problems facing so many children today war, poverty, abuse, slavery, child trafficking, prostitution, lack of education, healthcare and nutrition, inclusion and disability, emigration, homelessness, single parent households, violence and bullying, depression and stress. We need to unite throughout the world to solve these horrors and give every child a fair chance at living a good life, we after all bring them into this world and should share the responsibility of their well being, by doing so we create a better life for us all!

This beautiful poem was written by Charles Bennafield, I think he describes diversity beautifully, thank you Charles for allowing me to do a work for your poem.

I Am Diversity, Please Include Me

I ‘m present in every place you go

Depending on your lens I’m friend or foe

I’m a force to be reckoned with

Like the winds of change I move. I’m swift.

I’m present when two or more are together

If embraced I can make the good even better.

I’m not limited to age, gender, or race.

I’m invisible at times and yet all over the place.

Don’t exclude me due to a lack of knowledge

Welcome me like the recruit fresh out of college.

Let me take my seat at the table

Even though I may be differently able

My experience, my passion the authentic me

Can help add value for your company.

Learn about me; improve my underrepresentation

And I can provide a competitive edge to your entire nation.

I exclude no one I am strengthened by all

My name is Diversity and yes I stand tall.

Recognize me and keep me in the mix

Together there’s no problem that we can’t fix.

I am your best hope towards true innovation

And to many, I reflect hope and inspiration.

Your lives and companies will continue to change

Thus the need for Diversity and Inclusion will also remain.

Do all that you can to truly embrace me

And experience life’s fullness totally

I’m the thought lurking behind the unfamiliar face

I’m the ingenuity that helps your team win the race.

I’m the solution that came from the odd question that was asked.

I stand out in the crowd when I, Diversity, am allowed to be unmasked.

I’m diversity embrace me and we’ll journey far.

I’m Diversity include me and we will reach the shining star.

Coupled with Inclusion our lights burn longer

Together we are smarter, better and stronger

I am Diversity

Yes, that’s me

"Sex could kill you. Do you know what the human body goes through when you have sex?

Pupils dilate, arteries constrict, core temperature rises, heart races, blood pressure skyrockets, respiration becomes rapid and shallow, the brain fires bursts of electrical impulses from nowhere to nowhere, and secretions spit out of every gland, and the muscles tense and spasm like you're lifting three times your body weight.

It's violent, it's ugly and it's messy, and if God hadn't made it unbelievably fun, the human race would have died out eons ago".

- Dr. Allison Cameron [House, M.D. TV Series]

An aerial view (taken from a flight) of the mighty 'Himalaya' mountain range as seen from above 'Kashmir'.

Together, the Himalaya mountain system is the planet's highest and home to all fourteen of the world's highest peaks - the Eight-thousanders, including Mount Everest. To comprehend the enormous scale of Himalaya peaks, consider that Aconcagua, in the Andes, is at 6,959 m the highest peak outside the Himalaya, while the Himalaya system has over 100 peaks exceeding 7,200 m. The Himalaya stretches across five nations, Bhutan, China, India, Nepal, and Pakistan. It is the source of three of the world's major river systems, the Indus Basin, the Ganga-Brahmaputra Basin and the Yangtze Basin. An estimated 750 million up people live in the watershed area of the Himalayan rivers, which also includes Bangladesh.
