I look over the darkland haze,
And I see so many souls ablaze,

Detained, as I fail to see the light that points the way.
Retreat to dreams of another day,
Replace trust from along the way,
Define, collate, the thoughts profane,

Take away the imagery,
And let the hurt lead you on.
Embrace the fire that burns, the flames that shine,
Retrace the steps of Gods that lead to heaven,
Hell in sight, the burning kingdom draws me in,
The angels plead but I’m taken by the promises of sin,
Perverse, undignified, unpure,
Don’t look, don’t weep, pray hard, to go far away.
Fleeting thoughts conjure up the darkest notions,
Plague my dreams and invade my conscious when I’m waking,
Pacify apparitions far and wide that cross my path,
And leave me standing cold and shaking,
Scared and ashamed as I beg for reprieve,
Closed in, condemned, pray hard to return.
Don’t look, don’t weep, go back, go far away.

Il 104 è uno spazio per esposizioni situato nel 19° arrondissement di Parigi, e nasce dal riadattamento dei grandi locali in cui si trovavano le pompe funebri della capitale.
Si tratta di una ristrutturazione gradevole e di un esperimento interessante che punta alla riqualificazione del quartiere, partendo dalla cultura e dalla disponibilità diffusa degli spazi.
Vi sono presenti opere d'arte fruibili fisicamente, per sollecitarne l'interesse e vi si aprono numerosi ateliers riservati all'esposizione di giovani artisti.
Inoltre si può accedere ad una biblioteca di arte, molto fornita (questa mia foto è l'elaborazione del suo impianto di illuminazione) ad un bar e ad un ristorante.
Nella parte centrale, che si presenta come una grande piazza coperta, vengono a giocare bambini e sostano abitualmente numerose persone, come avverrebbe in uno spazio pubblico all'aperto.
