Sea lions are pinnipeds characterized by external ear flaps, long foreflippers, the ability to walk on all fours, short, thick hair, and a big chest and belly. Together with the fur seals, they comprise the family Otariidae, eared seals, which contains six extant and one extinct species (the Japanese sea lion) in five genera. Their range extends from the subarctic to tropical waters of the global ocean in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, with the notable exception of the northern Atlantic Ocean. They have an average lifespan of 20–30 years. A male California sea lion weighs on average about 300 kg (660 lb) and is about 2.4 m (8 ft) long, while the female sea lion weighs 100 kg (220 lb) and is 1.8 m (6 ft) long. The largest sea lion is Steller's sea lion, which can weigh 1,000 kg (2,200 lb) and grow to a length of 3.0 m (10 ft). Sea lions consume large quantities of food at a time and are known to eat about 5–8% of their body weight (about 6.8–15.9 kg (15–35 lb)) at a single feeding. Sea lions can move around 16 knots (30 km/h; 18 mph) in water and at their fastest they can reach a speed of about 30 knots (56 km/h; 35 mph). Three species, the Australian sea lion, the Galápagos sea lion and the New Zealand sea lion, are listed as endangered. 61535
Chambered Tomb in South Glamorgan. The Welsh name for this site is Gwal-y-Filiast, the Greyhound Bitch's Lair. There was once a mound of earth or stones covering this Neolithic burial chamber, but only slight traces remain.
Now there are three upright stones supporting a 14-foot long by 10-foot wide by 21/2-foot thick capstone, truly a remarkable feat. There are no excavation finds, but one 19th Century researcher recounted seeing bones and pottery mixed up with earth thrown out of the chamber.

There is a huge language barrier between Victor and I. Just as much English he speaks, that's how much of a Spanish I know. And it's too low on both sides to communicate anything. But he's artistic, he's got the eye. His son is a fashion photographer back in Ecuador. He definitely knows what makes good pictures. AND THAT, my friends, is the language we speak to eachother without any problems.
He was working; silkscreening two inch thick acrylic blocks with messages for some high-end firm. He came into the office, called me and signaled me to bring my camera along to the production department. I followed, he posed, I clicked: this is what came out along with a few more that I'll post later...

I am not sure of uploading this one, I am not sure about the final processing. I wanted to go for some "Hostel look". I would love to know what you think.
Technical note: The image is a triple exposures tonemapped in Photomatix. Furthermore, a few layers of curves, levels, a lot of hue/saturation, added a vignette.
Location: The island Trälen, on the west coast of Sweden.
Camera: Canon 350d with the fabulous Sigma 10/20 @ 10mm
Base exposure: 1/3s at f/8 ISO 100 on my new Gorilla pod.
Some of my contacts have said they like a bit of red in the snow scenes so here is today's obligatory red and white picture!

We popped in to Coventry Cathedral today. I've only been once, years ago, and seeing as we have lived in the next town for the last 5 years we thought we should visit!
This is the gorgeous gorgeous stained glass window, or 'baptistry window'.
My still photos of it were not that great as it was fairly dark - so I tried playing with a longer exposure and moving the camera in a semi-circle. LOVE the results.

Melbourn'es Yarra River was originally named Birrarung by the Wurundjeri. It is situated in East Central Victoria and divides the city in "North and South of the Yarra". It originates in the Yarra Ranges, flows through the Yarra Valley and Greater Melbourne before it empties into the Hobsons Bay. The river stretches over a total length of 242km (Source: wikipedia).
Technique:
The picutre is a 10 Shot Panorama taken about 20min after sunset with an picture exposure of 30s at f/11 and ISO 100. I used DxO Optics 6 for the RAW file conversion and Autopano Pro 2 for the stitching of the panorama before post-editing it in Bridge and Framing in Photoshop CS5.

The end-result is a 76 Megapixel photograph which is printable 4.7m x 2.0m at 72 DPI.

A couple of days ago I have received an interesting email. A person has found my youtube videos and wanted just to thank me. That was a surprise for me.
The topic was related to coming out as a crossdresser to your partner. For the person, who wrote me it was very hard to accept that the boyfriend turned to be a lady sometimes…it is hard, but being open to your partner might surprise you – if there is true love, the partner will try to understand what is hidden behind – the whole world! We all deserve to be happy the way we are!
I am very happy, that my videos could help someone to accept their partner! Crossdressing is an Art of transformation, and one of my main goals is to prove that!
I hope you will like my thoughts and it will help you or your partner!

Another post.. so soon after the last one?! Well, now that I am enjoying my summer holidays.. I do have a bit more time. And while there is still a heatwave going on, today is a very rainy day. So I don't feel too bad about spending some time at my PC.
