This young lady was walking the horse on our street (close to the huge field) and she kindly allowed me to photograph her with a horse. And if you look at the porch of the house behind her, you will see a Christmas decoration in the form of a unicorn above the porch...
Thank you all for visits, favs and comments! It's greatly appreciated!
"Quadriga d'Hélios", in Turó Park (Barcelona) It is composed of a chariot pulled by two horses straightened on their hind legs, and guided by the figure of Hélios, god of the sun. It was part of a monumental fountain of the artist Joan Borrell i Nicolau (Font de l'Aurora), whose sculptures are scattered in different places in Barcelona.
Somewhere in time's own space
There must be some sweet pastured place
Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow
Some paradise where horses go,
For by the love that guides my pen
I know great horses live again.
~Stanley Harrison
last night we went to photograph horses in a pasture not far from our home during the golden hour. the light was exquisite as it caressed their manes and tales. I have always had a fondness for horses, but especially for white ones. they seem to me to be the embodiment of spirit.

The Haflinger, also known as the Avelignese, is a breed of horse developed in Austria and northern Italy (namely the South Tyrol region) during the late 19th century. Haflinger horses are relatively small, are always chestnut in color, have distinctive gaits described as energetic but smooth, and are well-muscled yet elegant. The breed traces its ancestry to the Middle Ages; there are several theories for its origin. Haflingers, developed for use in mountainous terrain, are known for their hardiness.

The Camargue horse is an ancient breed of horse indigenous to the Camargue area in southern France. Its origins remain relatively unknown, although it is generally considered one of the oldest breeds of horses in the world. For centuries, possibly thousands of years, these small horses have lived wild in the harsh environment of the Camargue marshes and wetlands of the Rhône delta.
The Camargue horse is the traditional mount of the gardians, the Camargue "cowboys" who herd the black Camargue bulls used in bullfighting in southern France.
