There is nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of their way to make life beautiful for others.

Continuing with my Positive Flags of the Nations with celebrating the power of touch.
Sometimes, reaching out and taking someone's hand is the beginning of a journey.

Those names, on a a brick sidewalk, may not mean much to you and me, but they had someone who made them honorary.
But not all of us....
Still, the ability to share in something as wonderful of music together for many of us should not be forgotten.
I'm not one of those people who think quarantine should be broken. I believe it is important to stop the spread of Coronavirus and "flatten the curve" but I also believe that right now my photos of different times are my best reason for having a camera. I know during this shelter at home many of you have gotten creative with indoor photos and I really admire that. But, I have a lot of photos that I have never posted that I'm enjoying revisiting. It's nice to remember these days and feel hopeful for their return.

A couple of weeks ago. Just been out with doggos... it’s currently 3c and a hard frost already, cars are solid ice, roads frosty and grass on golf course is solid... was 9.30pm when I left and just back, it’s not yet 1030pm. Hopefully going to be a beautiful crisp Wednesday morning!! Here’s a picture of our can window ❄️xx www.flickr.com/gp/147617131@N05/9NV234 although looking at the forecast it’s to rain early... so may not be so frosty 😡xx

Colonnade at the Neues Museum ("New Museum"). The Neues Museum is part of the Museumsinsel ("Museum Island"), a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Berlin's Mitte district. It was commissioned by King Frederick William IV of Prussia and planned and built by Friedrich August Stüler (a student of Karl Friedrich Schinkel) between 1843 and 1855. If you take a look at the photo in the first comment, you get a better idea of the surroundings; I took that photo at the same place, and the modern columns of the recently opened James Simon gallery which you see there form an architectural unity with the portico you see in this photo. Sunset at the beach
It has took such a long time before we culd go to the beach.
Although this years holiday was a small one, when counting in tme, it was a huge one if I am counting in pictures. And these are the picures I love very much.
We didn't go on holiday to Spain, Italy or Greece , but due to the situation we stayed in the Netherlands. We went to Zandvoort and not to see the race or even the circuit. No, we went for the food, the nice people, the shops and entertainment. But for me, most of all, I went for the beach. Just hoping one day would be good enough to take sunset and silhouette pictures. Mostly people and dogs in the pictures, and all seem to be having lots of fun.
It turned out that three of the late summer days were more then good enough.
Enjoy!
