The Sukhothai Historical Park covers the ruins of Sukhothai, literally "Dawn of Happiness", capital of the Sukhothai Kingdom in the 13th and 14th centuries, in what is now Northern Thailand. It is located near the modern city of Sukhothai, capital of the province with the same name.
The Sabelspoort (also called Eusebiuspoort) is a city gate of the Dutch city Arnhem.
The gate was first mentioned in 1357. Arnhem once had four city gates.
The Sabelspoort was part of a castle surrounded by a high wall with embrasures. Later, the gate was also used to lock up prisoners and insane people, which is why it was also called the 'Geckenpoort'.
In 1642 the gate was restored and it was given a Renaissance facade on the city side (in above photo). In later years, the gate was enclosed by houses, but during the Second World War and especially during the Battle of Arnhem these houses were so badly damaged that they were demolished after the liberation and the gate was released. The gate itself was also severely damaged. Photo here (taken from the other side of the gate - not the city side):

The gate was rebuilt in 1952. Since then it has been part of the adjacent Provincial House of Gelderland.

Cabot Tower a historical landmark located on Signal Hill a National Historic site in the City of St. John's on the Avalon Peninsula in Newfoundland and Labrador Canada
Cabot Tower is a tower in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, situated on Signal Hill. Construction of the tower began in 1898 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of John Cabot's discovery of Newfoundland, and Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.
In 1901, Guglielmo Marconi received the first trans-Atlantic wireless message at a position near the tower, the letter "S" in Morse Code sent from Poldhu, Cornwall, United Kingdom. Cabot Tower is now the centre of the Signal Hill National Historic Site of Canada,] with walking trails and an interpretation centre.
Located at the highest point of Signal Hill, overlooking the city and the ocean, Cabot Tower is an example of late-Gothic Revival style. Built of irregularly coursed red sandstone, it is composed of a two-story, 30 foot, square structure with a three-story, 50 foot octagonal tower that stands on the southeast corner of the building. The corners are buttressed at the first floor level and further emphasized through the use of heavier blocks of stone. On the main body of the building, at the top of the second storey level, is a line of repeating pattern like an exaggerated dentil row or inverted crenelations. The attached tower, which houses the main entrance, is very plain with a double string course marking the divisions between second and third storeys and heavy corbel tables marking the eight corners of the turret at the flared upper level. The windows on both the corner turret and the body of the tower proper are rectangular and set under heavy stone lintels.
The architect of Cabot Tower, William Howe Greene, was a prominent St. John's architect and an associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects. Wikipedia

The open-air-museum is covered with buildings, tools, animals and plants of countryside life in Northwest Germany in the last couple of centuries. An endless source of inspiration for HDR photography.
The Goritsky Monastery of Dormition (Russian: Успенский Горицкий монастырь) was a Russian Orthodox monastery in Pereslavl-Zalessky, Russia.
It was supposedly established in the early 14th century during the reign of Ivan I of Moscow (Ivan Kalita). In 1382 Tokhtamysh Khan destroyed the town and the monastery with it. According to the legend, Grand Princess Eudoxia of Moscow arrived as a pilgrim the day before the attack and managed to escape the Horde on a raft, covered by fog of the Pleshcheyevo lake. In gratitude for the miraculous salvation, she rebuilt the monastery and established a tradition of Easter rides on rafts across the lake.
All the monastery's manuscripts were destroyed by a fire on June 12, 1722, which is why little is known about its history.
No original architecture was preserved. The oldest parts of the preserved ensemble date to the 17-18th centuries.
The monastery was closed in 1788. In 1919 the Pereslavl-Zalessky Historical Museum was established within its territory.
"She was to wed Heinrich of Lüneburg, a Welf noble chosen for the role. Though not born to the direct line of succession, he carried the Lion’s blood in his veins and the empire’s ambition in his heart. A cousin to the Duke, Heinrich was styled Count of Lüneburg—a domain vital to Saxon trade and rich with salt mines, the economic lifeblood of the region. His reputation was that of a shrewd diplomat with aspirations for greater influence, a man determined to rise through carefully brokered partnerships..."

'The Densuș Church (also known as St Nicholas' Church) in the village of Densuș, Hunedoara County, Romania is one of the oldest Romanian churches still standing.
It was built in the 7th century with additions made in the 13th century on the site of a 2nd-century Roman temple, with some materials from the Dacian Sarmizegetusa fortress. It has a stone tower above the naos. Inside the church there are 15th century mural paintings that show Jesus wearing Romanian traditional clothes.
It is considered that on the setting of the present day church, there was once a Dacian temple dedicated to Zamolxis, upon which the conquering Romans built a temple dedicated to the god Mars. After the Roman administrative withdrawal, the temple became a Christian church, and sermons were held there. Its present form dates from the beginning of the 12th century. Considering its tradition, it dates from the 4th century AD, and is considered the oldest church in Romania and South East Europe.' (Wikipedia)
