Very little luck birding earlier today so decided to post a shot of the Hilton Falls - a nice waterfall near Milton. Appearently Hooded Warblers breed in the area but sadly I was not able to find any!

I took this photo with Iphone 7 plus this morning, just few minutes before going to Heathrow Airport from Paddington Station.

Spring is a perfect time to photograph waterfalls as water levels are higher creating more water flow.

The water from snow melt feeds the neighbouring rivers and streams, which allows for fuller and more spectacular waterfalls

I've been told 2015, alias BAYL 509, is on its way to the paint shop. Another example of the classic BAYL livery bites the dust.

The view downstream from Hilton Falls along the upper ridge of the stream. I shot this same scene with the Mamiya RB67 back in 2010 in the post below.

Metered the shadows and dialled back the development time to 7 minutes to help hold the highlights back, seemed to have worked nicely.

Shot at F32 @ 7 secs to account for reciprocity failure.

went with Jeddah Shooters Group to shoot the fireworks on the third day of Eid..

I took Tarik's tripod "one of jeddah shooters member" and I shot this shot.. its my first attempt in slow shutter and night shots.. I'm very proud of the results.. the horizontal is a bit not in the middle.. but I will try my best next time..

Taken at Hilton Falls this spring. This is the most water flow I have seen over the falls for quite some time.
