This was taken12 years ago when I was playing in the pit orchestra for the musical called Curtains. It was a hilarious "who done it" musical with Music by John Kander and Lyrics by Fred Ebb.
I'm slowly coming back to Flickr after a vacation from my second home country Finland.
While enjoying my vacation in Finland, I got to meet several bugs, like this one, a grasshopper having a piece of grass as snacks.
I found it hilarious because it clearly was looking at me while I approached it closer and closer with my macro lens. Perhaps it was proud to show how grasshoppers eat.

I came across this funny notice on Facebook and just had to share it with you all. I found it hilarious.

I was trying to do this thing, where you let your face go limp and you shake your head, and pictures capture you with the weirdest faces. . . anyway, I cracked.
The expression of this Anna's Hummingbird staring down the axis of my camera's lens making it's long beak almost imperceptible. I sure it was wondering when I would stop taking pictures so it could feed at the hummingbird feeder next to me. The face made my day and hopefully puts a smile on yours.
The candid, often hilarious work of Chicago-based artist and cartoonist Jessica Campbell (Canadian, b. 1985) critiques the traumas and absurdities of gender politics. In her first solo museum exhibition, she re-envisions the life and artwork of twentieth-century Canadian painter Emily Carr (1871โ1945) in a suite of brand-new work. Inspired by their shared roots in Victoria, British Columbia, Campbell approaches Carrโs work from multiple angles and across conventional and unconventional mediumsโfrom paintings and drawings to comics and textiles. Her vivid retellings transform seemingly distant art histories into living texts.
The centerpiece of the exhibition is an immersive carpet mural inspired by Giotto di Bondoneโs fourteenth-century Scrovegni Chapel, a masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance with frescos depicting stories from the life of Christ. Campbellโs work, however, features vivid, cartoonlike scenes that interweave formativeโand often difficultโnarratives from the lives of both Carr and Campbell. Though the artists grew up in Victoria nearly a century apart, they lived only fifteen-minutes away from each other, and many of the events Campbell recalls from her past took place in landscapes Carr that painted. The colorful floor-to-ceiling carpet dampens the sound in the gallery, creating a chapel-like atmosphere for viewing Campbellโs poignant, irreverent, and at times grotesque scenes. This allows viewers to contemplate imagery that is rarely given space for serious contemplation: the lived experiences of women.

This was the most fun I have had photographing horses thanks to this guy. It was just hilarious to see the results of the frames captured.
The horse is actually not having fun but biting the horse next to him when competing for space. But on the picture it sure looks like he just heard a really good joke.
After shooting this horse doing various facial exercises I went back to the car and got some bread for him as a reward. He had really made my day and earn a few slices of bread.
