Leading a session with the West Michigan Forum with professional coaches. It was great to see how much happened in 10 minutes with Open Space Technology.
I facilitated another Open Space Technology session with the statewide organization, ICF Michigan, at the 2013 Annual Forum
Here's a quote from one of the attendees:
"I had the opportunity to participate in an Open Space ...where the theme was 'use of social media as a marketing tool'.
Very quickly, the group in attendance identified about 6-8 related topics and then off we went with the freedom to walk around and join in on any group conversation we wanted to.
In one corner of the room was a group huddled around and buzzing about Twitter while another was sitting on the floor talking about blogs.
I was interested in learning about WordPress at the time so I gravitated to a group discussing its use. A long time coaching colleague was also in the group and I learned she had just converted her website to WordPress. She generously offered to help me out which resulted in a couple of very insightful phone calls in the weeks after the meeting.
I really don't think I would have made this connection, and gained the insight I did, if not for the environment Open Space facilitates."

The statewide organization asked me to coordinate Coach Cafe' Ann Arbor. I was also on the planning team (and resident techie) for the ICF Michigan Annual Forum 2013. (Int'l Coaching Federation, for which I'm a member.)
Our Ann Arbor LinkedIn group is open to coaches who'd like to participate in Coach Cafe' in the SE Michigan area. Search for "Coach Cafe' Ann Arbor" and, if you are practicing coach, ask to join. Also see our website: Coachcafeannarbor.weebly.com/
A video explaining profession coaching (by those external to your immediate organization, is there. There is also a link to an article on how to select a coach.
Coaching by those external to your organization is recommended, as internal coaches and managers, while useful in providing support/perspective, may have PAAR, that is power, authority, accountability & responsibility for your work, and therefore may not be fully objective or fully able to support what is best for your development.

This presentation provides a context for performance appraisals, ratings and reviews as very old ideas compared to organizational leadership pioneers and what's next. Performance management, defined in the 1970s, is rooted in scientific management. It is possible to acknowledge history, realize its impact on our business systems, and let go to embrace new strategies.

The Sunova Professional shortboard has a long history of development. Numerous Sunova crew have all played a role in refining the Professional into what it is today.
The curves are blended to give a fast and responsive board. A tight outline through the tail, combined with a clean exit curve, allow deep and hard surfing in the pocket. The pulled-in tail gives a fast rail to rail transition when snapping under the lip on tight back foot turns.

Ready and waiting for it's home. The engine color is the original GM blue for this car, maybe I can pass it off as a stock 350 with aluminum heads? It's not an exact copy of any build, but ended up "somewhat" similar to this one.
www.chevyhiperformance.com/tech/engines_drivetrain/comple...
Except for:my heads are not fully CNC-ported and have a smaller valve size.I have slightly less compression.I did not use shaft-mount rockers or the titanium retainers.I did not use the Rattler harmonic balancer.I used a solid flat-tappet cam instead of a hydraulic roller with slightly less duration @ .050" and alot less lift and overlap. The clearances are slightly different.I used a different oil pan,H-beam rods, and a different brand rotating assy.My intake is not CNC gasket-matched,and I used a different carb.Otherwise,,,it is about the closest magazine article build I could find to my street engine build.LOL

You are invited to stay and browse through my stream. Here's a quick index to my little corner of Flickr:
Automobile Photographs: This is a very large collection of images whose primary, but not exclusive, focus is on American automotive classics. Images are organized by decade, by manufacturer, and by topics (such as convertibles, station wagons, muscle cars, etc.)
Central Illinois (except Springfield): Central Illinois (except Springfield): Photos relating to the middle section of the "Land of Lincoln" (except for the Capital City of Springfield) may be found in this collection. Every city and town I've photographed is contained within its own set, and rural (as in "countryside") photographs are grouped by county.
Springfield, Illinois: All of my photographs of Springfield and the Abraham Lincoln Sites are in this collection. For the City of Springfield, there are separate sets for the Capitol Complex, Downtown (including the Old State Capitol), Neighborhoods, Parks, Illinois State Fairgrounds and more. Photographs of Lincoln sites include the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, Lincoln Home National Historic Site, Lincoln Tomb, and so on. Also in the Lincoln "All About Abe" (Set) are a few Lincoln sites not located in Springfield.
The Illinois State Fair: My collection of photographs of the Illinois State Fair. The fair offers something for everyone. Grab a corn dog and lemon shake-up, and come take a look!
Beyond Central Illinois: Other locales in the United States and Canada including New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Seattle.
In addition to my location-based sets, here are links to some "topical" collections and sets I've put together:
Barbers & Barber Shops: Traditional barbers and barber shops are on the endangered species list. But there are still plenty to be found if you go looking for them.
Almost Everything Else. Check It Out!!!: Included topics range from man's first walk on the moon to small town schools and churches, and from Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers (our favorite breed) to things that are abandoned, neglected, weathered, or rusty.
