When on Christmas Eve Rebeka handed me a mysteriously looking envelope with a note reading: "Snow holiday", I didn't know what to expect, but I was beyond thrilled. I've never been on SL vacation before! I couldn't wait for January to come soon enough!
When the time came, we loaded up the car, packed some tasty snacks, loaded up the perfect playlist and set off.
As we left the city traffic and tall buildings behind us, beautiful trees replaced the city skyline. After a few hours of scenic drive, we arrived at our destination: Poconos Ski Resort! Everywhere we looked, we were surrounded by snowy mountains, trees and nature. I threw my arms around my girlfriend's neck and planted a juicy kiss on her cold cheek. We were in haven!

I was introduced to beer by my "beer snob" college roommate. I have very high standards for beer.
Everyone in my family knows that the only beer in cans I allow is Boddingtons. I also allow Guinness in cans, but that is obviously a stout. *** PREVIOUS 2 SENTENCES EDITED FOR ACCURACY ***. Even in bottles, I shy away from cheap domestic beers.
I bought this can of "High Life" as a joke for an English friend.
I can only imagine the regret I would feel if I woke up next to this can in the morning and realized I may have drank this drivel.

So here we have all Sindy's tennis outfits from 1966 to 1991.
Not an awful lot compared to the bridal gowns. I've always counted the 1987 Sindys as Pedigrees, so without thinking she ended up before 1986. I only noticed my mistake when I added the years above them.

Just got back from doing two photography trips back to back. This was one of my highlife from the latter. I was cruising the roads late afternoon and noticed something eating prey. As I pulled up slowly it was this Roughie eating a Shortie! First reaction was WTF! I knew this event was unthinkable and I took a bunch of shots from my car. Luckily my TC wasn't on otherwise I would have been too close!

Rocky is doing awesome, and he is now a big 17.3hh!! He will soon be moved to Highlife Farms in Orlando, FL, and I will have some new pics up soon. Sorry about the ear crop, I was bummed about it. Some good pics are on the way!! Rocky has an appointment with an equine photographer soon!!

The following morning, we woke up unusually early to hit the slopes before the crowds. Since I didn't know beforehand that we were going to a ski resort, I came completely unprepared, but Rebeka had me covered! Like a magician pulling a rabbit out of the hat, she presented me with a shiny snowsuit and a pair of skies! We took the elevator to the mountain top and boarded the ski lift. On our way up we might or might not have swung the chair a couple of times ;)
