My new udon/rice bowl, with my extremely silly microwave for a backdrop. Saw this bowl at Gaylaxicon and couldn't say no. First thing I've dragged back from a con in years I can actually USE! I liked that I got to meet the potter who made it and painted it. He did lovely work.

This is a big and lovely Hello Kitty statue at Riachuelo, a fast fashion store at Avenida Paulista, São Paulo. Last Sunday (Sep. 14), there was a Hello Kitty event there, release of the new Hello Kitty outfit collection for teens and adults. I would take this statue home, if I could! ... <3
