GIANT sized shopping bag. :D About 20x20".
And I'm sure it's not surprising at all that I have at least 3-5 of these. haha
Off to the side you can see my poor hidden bookshelf--but I can get to it through the foot of my bed. And there's my armoire! It's my favorite piece of wooden furniture--it's real wood, no particle board anywhere, and it's not designed to put a TV in it!
It's so big and strong I can climb inside it and close the doors and hide! Yay for a hiding place!

Launched at Anime Expo 2014, KILL BEAR is a Hello Kitty (ハローキティ) x Kill Bill (Quentin Tarantino) x Gotochi-kitty inspired art piece (doubling as a faux-movie poster), where Mori Chack’s Gloomy takes the place of Bill…and a universe of kitties, and other characters cosplay in a Kill Bill vibe or play themselves – in this, the 3rd (imaginary) film by Danconia and Tarantino. (and let’s forget Bruce Lee…and Game of Death…see Shoes)
The faux-movie poster is situated in the Shibuya district of Tokyo and offers a daytime view of “Beatrix Kitty” (Uma Thurman x Kitty Chan), ready for battle against Bear-san and all his minions.
In addition to Beatrix Kiddo, “KILL BEAR” features Hello Kitty x Tarantino inspired character versions of GoGo Yubari, Sofie Fatale (with new Gloomy arm), Budd, Elle Driver, O-Ren Ishii along with surprise cameos from Astro Boy, a Mayumi-Miffy hybid, GeGeGe no Kitaro x Hello Kitty, a Gigantor x Badz Maru robo, Mayumi Gumi adverts along with a respectful nod to Leiji Matsumoto with the Bunny-Skull/Crossbones in Beatrix Kitty’s hair. There is an even a Tomo-chan Kitty to be found from LA’s KokeKokko (advertised on top right hand corner). Another easter egg is the Maria Kitty Club named for Maria @ Hello Kitty Junkies.
The side panels and small iconography on the top right pay homage to Japanese toy and model kits from Bandai, Popy, Toei and more. And makes clear that this is no ordinary Hello Kitty x Tarantino hybrid. This is a Kitty Chan Robo x Kiru Biru fueled by Nanotechnology (and wasabi) of course…
P.S. Japanese translations courtesy of Manako Ihaya who did the translations for the actual film…KILL BILL – for real!
Si me avente hacerla...creo que no salio mal...es totalmente suavecitaa.....ojalá les guste mi kitty¡¡
While I was browsing in the internet yesterday, I discovered this photograph. At first, I did not notice anything strange. However, when I looked closer, I found that the model was wearing a pair of Hello Kitty contact lens!! It's really cool and was first posted in 2007. However, I cannot find out where I can buy a pair. If any one of my friends and visitors has any clue, please leave me a comment. Thanks! :)
I noticed that my company on my desk is very matching indeed: Hello Kitty and my sucky English-Greek-English dictionary! I'm glad it's pretty and matching, sort of makes up for the fact that it doesn't include a single compound word etc.
I've actually been upgraded since then, because a few weeks ago I actually found Oxford's English-Greek Learner's Dictionary from a second hand bookstore for 1 euro! Now that's a proper dictionary! The only problem is that it's one-way, and that it still has the old Greek spelling, but that's not a big problem :) Now I just need to finish my dissertation, so I can continue learning better Greek.
