It's the edge of a piece of transparent, heavy duty shipping tape that has just been cut by the cutting edge of the dispenser underneath. The entire image measures just under two inches on the long side.

This excavator had a primary purpose as an earth mover, yet in this snow covered image - it looks like it could have been contracted out to dig through the freshly fallen snow.
Looks can be deceiving.
**Captured less than two weeks ago. The snow has since then melted and Spring appears to have arrived.
Excavators are heavy construction equipment consisting of a boom, dipper, bucket and cab on a rotating platform known as the "house". The house sits atop an undercarriage with tracks or wheels. They are a natural progression from the steam shovels and often mistakenly called power shovels. All movement and functions of a hydraulic excavator are accomplished through the use of hydraulic fluid, with hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic motors. Due to the linear actuation of hydraulic cylinders, their mode of operation is fundamentally different from cable-operated excavators which use winches and steel ropes to accomplish the movements.

I am pretty confident in saying, that for many visitors and viewers, that this old and weathered GMC, is much more than just a bucket of nuts and bolts.

These trucks are highly modified in order to take the shock loads of jumping over cars and buses and often times landing awkwardly on only one wheel. Many components come from heavy duty trucks or old military vehicles. Monster Truck Throwdown at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie, Virginia.

Roll of heavy-duty mounting tape. The adhesive on this tape is so strong, it's rather difficult to catch the edge of the liner to peel it off.
Loco Moco-A dish consisting of hamburger, steamed rice, shallots, scallions, mushroom gravy, scrambled eggs w/ cheddar cheese. We’ve had this dish the majority of the time we was on the Island of Hawaii. It was delicious to say the least! Then we had creamed hash potatoes, French Toast, and mimosas that had the options of either Orange, Pineapple, Guava, and Liliko’i juices! We had them all save one throughout our ten-day stay.
Unit 7383 belongs to the KORAIL Class 7300 diesel-electric series, manufactured based on the robust EMD GT26CW-2 model. While most Class 7300 units serve regular passenger and freight routes across South Korea, units 7382 and 7383 are specially designated to pull the Rail Cruise Haerang (레일크루즈 해랑) train. The distinctive deep royal blue/purple color is part of the luxurious aesthetic adopted for this special service. The Rail Cruise Haerang is South Korea's premier luxury "hotel-on-wheels," launched in 2008. The name "Haerang" (해랑) means "together with the sun," reflecting its design as a high-end tourist train with sleeping accommodations and personalized services for travelers exploring South Korea's scenic routes. The Class 7300 series is gradually being retired, but the units assigned to the Haerang have had their operational lifespan extended due to their specialized, high-profile role.

35mm photograph captures our dark green Merchant's Fast Motor Line 1989 KW in front of the Dallas shop just after hooking a set of double trailers.
This was before Merchants closed bankrupt in 1996 leaving everyone unemployed!

Curry Rail's TP56 spots a heavy duty flatcar inside their Hollidaysburg Shop. The was to be evaluated for possible overhaul and return to service. As for late 2020 the car was still in storage.
