Yes, we do reach for the bad snacks, but a good bit of natural health is the best! I started out with a composition of a raspberry, 2 blueberries a hazel nut and a grape, but gradually ate them till I was left with these.

I was going to shoot Pistachios but realised I’d eaten them all!

One of my daily smoothies, good even for a cold and rainy day.

Recipe: almond milk, berries, avocado, spinach, chia seeds, vanilla zero carb protein, greek yogurt, cinnamon and Stevia. The perfect lunch.

For those asking, I'm fine. I've just been busy between annual health check ups, house chores, gym, crafts, vacation planning, and TV series. Thanks for your comments, really appreciated! 💕

Thanks for all the comments and fave' s!

"A 'treat' is different from a 'reward', which must be justified or earned. A treat is a small pleasure or indulgence that we give to ourselves just because we want it. Treats give us greater vitality, which boosts self-control, which helps us maintain our healthy habits."

Happy Macro Mondays !

Diet experts keep saying that you should eat 5 fruit and vegetables a day to keep healthy, that's why I chose these delicious strawberries bought at a nearby farm as my contribution to this week's photo for Macro Mondays.

Healthy Snack

Maybe if I photograph some healthy foods it will encourage me to eat some too.

I also added the textured background in photshop after creating a mask for the fruit and then adding a vignette.

Macro Mondays Theme: Staying Healthy

After my kidney stone operation, orange juice and orange fruit are now part of my special diet.

"Delicious and juicy orange fruit contain an impressive list of essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals for healthy growth and development and overall well-being.

•Nutrients in oranges are plentiful and diverse. The fruit is low in calories, contains no saturated fats or cholesterol, but rich in dietary fiber, pectin. Pectin, by its virtue as a bulk laxative, helps protect the mucosa of the colon by decreasing its exposure time to toxic substances as well as by binding to cancer-causing chemicals in the colon. By binding to bile acids in the colon, pectin has also been shown to reduce blood cholesterol levels by decreasing its re-absorption in the colon."

All comments are highly appreciated. It will help me a lot to improve my photography skills. Big thanks to all of you for the comments, faves and views.

For the Macro Mondays Theme: Staying Healthy

Thank you for your time, faves and comments

Well, due to other priorities this week, I did not have a lot of time to think about the theme or to take pictures. So this evening I organised a search in my fridge, looking for something healthy. Oh boy, I found a lot which did't match for this weeks challenge...

Finally this cucumber saved my day!

Remember me to to get more healthy groceries in my fridge...

HMM and stay healthy!
