I had so much trouble trying to get a decent photo of one of these tiny birds. They flit around the treetops with their little bandit masks desperate to hide from you.

Spotted this one up in the trees just before entering the 3rd kipuka on the pu'u o'o trail taking it's time with this 'ohi'a lehua.
