Happy Halloween to all my Flickr friends. Found at Creekside Manor, a haunted house in Williamsport Maryland. Legend tells of a haunted past so dark and so mysterious that few dare enter, far too haunted to be inhabited by any living humans. When touring the house Dr. Chanda Wright, Metaphysicist and Paranormal Phycologist declared "the number of spirits passing through the vortex created by events and the natural geography of this house is nothing short of phenomenal" Print Size 13x19 inches.
I saw a great photograph of this house on here by Gerry Pocha, and was inspired to take on of my own during a gloomy day this week.
By boosting the exposure in Photoshop, this very under-exposured image took on a eerie haunted texture.

The Bible over the front door is a constant reminder that 35 Stonegate was, for over 200 years, a publishing house known as 'The Sign of the Bible'. This came to an end in 1873 when it was purchased by John Ward Knowles, a prominent stained glass manufacturer .
Some say that the bible is not kept merely a curiosity but remains in place to ward off evil spirits, and keep the occupants safe from any (lasting) harm.

This house which was abandoned maybe 10 years ago because I remember people living in it. It was left with about everything inside, but in a mess. I hear muliple owners own it and no one wants much to do with it. Now the doors are wide open with animals running through, so through the future years it will be interesting to see its decline. Locals know its a shame and a waste. While I am photographing this at 4 in the morning two vehicles drive by just 30 feet away and I am nervous about maybe having to explain what I am doing. Look closely and you can see my dog sitting almost still for 30 seconds. The only frame that she is in it.
