sometimes hardwork and dedication pays off. It's nice to get called into the bosses office and receive something nice.
This image has been hiding in my LR catalog for quite so long and I thought it was about time to post this image on Flickr. This image was shot on the shores of my father’s hometown in Tibiao, Antique, Philippines right the day before the Typhoon Bebeng {International codename: Aere} struck this place. The next few days after this were all rain, rain and rain...Please bear with my high ISO setting because I need to compensate with my shutter speed as the lens I used was heavy and the light was changing fast.
Looking back to my humble beginnings as my grandfather was a poor fisherman and farmer, I dedicate this image to the hardworking fishermen of the poor province of Antique, Philippines.

"One day feels lousy and one day feels nice. One day it's cloudy, you're paying the price. One day it's your day and one day it's not. One day it's easy and one day is shot" (Fiddler's Green)
I think we have all had that feeling at work when are heads are about ready to explode. People coming at you left and right, asking for the impossible. I think every now and again, a head actually does explode.
How are all the beautiful bricks of Bhakatpur made, and who works in the brick factories around the city? Ratna Prasad Prajapati, the owner of KP Brick Industry, invited me for tea and told me how he started small 30 years ago and now employs 400 men and women to produce high-quality bricks. He said the cheap competition from China and India makes life difficult for them. Could I take photos on the premises? Of course, he was delighted by my interest! #nepal #brickfields #hardwork #tradition #bhaktapur
Mercedes, very hardworking and serious woman at work. She was very kind to let me photograph her at her workplace. Capture: Carrer París, Barcelona.
Shot at a fair this spring in the german town of Hannover - the girl in the middle of all those sheap figures did'nt look up once from her smartphone for at least 5 minutes. She liked my photo of her though afterwards...
