I am just sorting out my photos from our September trip to Devon and the South Hams. There were some nice reflections to be seen at Brixham on the morning of our first day's walk.

This lovely small island was our first port of call on our Greek cruise . There is virtually no motor vehicles here & transport is by donkey . The island is blissfully time-warped ; a listed architectural reserve , as new construction is (theoretically ) banned. A unique & charming place .
Bunschoten-Spakenburg is a beautiful village with wonderful authentic features, hospitable people and modern shops and catering establishments. There is still plenty of attention for history and culture, but one cannot put back the clock. Plenty of activities and wonderful events are held in this village, in addition to women in traditional costume and ‘old men’ telling their stories in Spakenburg dialect on a bench at the harbour. In short, this is the best of both worlds!
Bunschoten has an agrarian origin, which is evident from the many farms and rural character. Spakenburg was a real fishing village located at the Zuyder Zee, later the IJsselmeer. And this can also be seen in and around the harbours with many fishing boats and other beautiful ships. The centre of Spakenburg is located around the old museum harbour with an active wharf. The lovely shops, the Saturday market, the historical buildings, the museums and friendly cafés and restaurants with their outdoor cafés ensure a wonderful time in an authentic village. Everyone is welcome in Bunschoten-Spakenburg
Cars versus ships !
Questa foto dimostra quanto sia stridente con l' antico fascino del luogo la presenza dell' automobile !
La foto è del periodo invernale , durante l' estate ci sarebbero solo barche.

At high tide, with the Irish Sea in the background. Got to like the name of the red boat...
Other boats in frame are...Trous-de-loup : Tilly : Eleanor : Suveran 2...with Suveran 1 approaching from the sea.
The harbour head of the fishing port of Saint Vaast la Hougue (Normandy).
This port used to be of great strategic importance and in the distance across the water, the defensens of the military architect Vauban are visible.
Another shot from Sunday evening's trip down to Sutton Harbour and The Barbican.
Unfortunately, the cloud thickened and we didn't get a sunset, but the lack of wind and gorgeous reflections made up for it.
I love boats, I'd love to own one, but until I win the lottery it's just a dream ;)

As much as I appreciated comments and feedback I would request no Awards or flashy gif comments, please. They will be deleted. Thank you.
Portofino has just over 500 permanent residents. But that all changes on summer days when the sun is shining and the yachting set drops anchor in the harbour to wander about. Boutiques, art galleries, cafes and restaurants line the tiny streets.
A view towards the castle headland across the East Harbour on a Foggy April afternoon. There was very little wind ad so the East Harbour was mill pond calm and allowed for the reflection of the yachts moored in the harbour.
Thanks for viewing this and other images in my photo stream.
Just a simple tourist type Snapograph taken at Dover Kent UK of the Harbour Arm walkway near the Eastern Docks.

Sutton Harbour, formerly known as Sutton Pool, is the original port of the City of Plymouth in Devon, England. It is still a busy fishing port and marina and is bounded on one side by the historic Barbican district. It is famous as the last departure point in England of the Mayflower, the ship that carried the Pilgrim Fathers to the New World in 1620.
