A martial artist jumping through a ring of fire as part of Kalaripayattu in Punarjani Martial Arts centre in Munnar, Kerala. Kalaripayattu is a 2000+ years old martial art in South India, mainly Kerala. Though it is not prevalent as before, still some areas in Kerala continue to pursue it through training and exhibitions in this martial art. Kalaripayattu has different types of techniques including sticks and weapons like swords, spears, etc.

These small flowers called "Thumba" is used for the 'pookalams' or flower carpets put in front of the houses on all the ten days.

Kunji was the Maveli in her school Onam celebrations. I made her the crown and dressed her up as maveli. But we couldn't find any "Olakkuda". So we substituted it with her 'Popykuda'. :D
