Hans Christian Andersen, a Danish author, did probably mean the King and not the Emperor when he wrote his short tale about the Emperor which wear no clothes.
King Aiko's New Clothes, it should have been, lol.
It's actually a pretty good story.
No one dares to say anything to the Emperor, that he doesn't wear any clothes, of fear for being stupid or incompetent.
I think that the world is changing so much now, that the way we have seen authority persons is changing rapidly.
The ones that misuse their power is seen and reported.
Power is the abililty to influence or outright control the behaviour of people.
We have all been victims, in some way, I guess.
It can be shown in different ways.
It can be a person you look up to that touches you intimately, either in action or in words.
It can be a grumpy person controlling you to not speak up, otherwise this persons humor will be dreadful, like a thunderstorm, all black.
It can be an authority person which thinks he/she is invincible and wants all others to be like a bunch of Marionettes, puppets in a string.
All this is coming up, and shown us - how not to be, how not to act.
Where is the respect we need to have towards others, my guess is that they don't even respect themselves if they misuse their power.
Power changes people which are not in balance, that is what I think. Suddenly they do things they normally wouldn't think as possible.
Earlier you would normally not step over the lines you actually believed in.
Unfortunately there is always someone that misuse the possibility to speak up, and say things that aren't true.
But they will always be there, they want to be seen too, but that is the wrong way to get an attention.
I think all this is the new world trying to settle.
It's pretty cool to be a part of, isn't it.
Let us set a good example, be your polite and nice Flickrities in the real world too, I guess we will change many on our way.
Woohoo, where did all this come from, hehe - it was only meant to be my contribution to #HangingOutClothes for Flickr Friday :D
And it is of course Aikos bandana bought in a Levis store for human beings, not dogs.
Of course
He is after all a King.
There are some cool places to hang out in NOLA. Reading a book next to the local laundromat? Mega cool points!

Been out of the posting game. Sorry 'bout that FlickrFam. Trying to get caught up on editing photos from the last couple months.
Just finished sorting through photos from our Mediterranean trip (2016) and finally getting them printed. Put the final 953 images in a photo book. This is one.
Ben, U. S., Andy, Alex, Abe, and George, hanging out in their hanging-out clothes, for #FlickrFriday #HangingOutClothes. (OK, so that's a pretty bad pun, but still.)
