each summer i'm drawn to my grandma's journals. her farm life wasn't easy, but it was simple. she wrote about weather, chores, the egg route, cooking, laundry, and family. i feel a sort of nostalgia for her life. or perhaps just a longing to connect with her beyond the grave.

The rules are to HANDWRITE the following things:
1. Your name and your flickr name.
2. Are you right or left handed ?
3. Favorite letters to write.
4. Least favorite letters to write.
5. Write out the sentence, "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" .
6. The names of the six of your flickr contacts that you'll be tagging ....
I find my handwriting changes a lot day to day, hour to hour, pen to pen. This is actually not a bad day. I find I wind up skipping some letters (sorry Worldworx) cause my eyes are faster than my hand. Never had a real great handwriting, my grade school teachers would attest to that.
All you have to do is write:

Least fave letters to write
Write "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog"
Left or right handed
Tag 6 of your contacts
Ever since breaking my pinkie, I write with my left hand for "longer items". If anything, I'd rather type. I was the person in high school that would wanna type up a math assignment if it was possible. I typed every.single.thing I could and teachers loved it. I love typing!

Did you know Comedian, actor and educator, Bill Cosby is the most famous pen enthusiast in the world?For years he lent his talent to promoting New York City Fountain Pen Hospital. National Handwriting Day is sponsored by the Writing Instrument Manufacturers Association in honor of John Hancock's birthday on Jan. 23rd.
Hancock was the first to sign the Declaration of Independence and is famous for his large, bold signature.
I collect pens so I thought I'd take a photo to honor this day.

it is way too far on my 365 to still half ass photos. Today was very busy, because it's my mum's birthday tomorrow on top of that, I couldn't get anything near a decent or interesting photo so somehow i ended up with this.
I got a new phone today and it's ridiculously technical.

I recently bought a HUGE collection of old paper dolls, which were obviously very well loved and used. There were even some hand-drawn clothes and accessories. And I found this little note hidden among them.
