I'm not able to find enough time to follow my eyes! Everywhere I go I see something, but especially when is calm and relaxing like Maldives. The white sand itself gave me a lot of inspirational thoughts..
Where do find inspiration?

Here in North America for sure, the skill of cursive handwriting is disappearing. My generation learned cursive handwriting with either dip pens and ink, or cartridge/fountain pens. The inexpensive ballpoint would come soon after my time. My children never learned to use a fountain pen and even gave up cursive, occasionally printing but instead using technology. I am not even sure if their children will learn to write cursive.
These are just some of my writing pens that I have used over the years. I left my Parker out of the photo only because it is filled with ink, while these are not. One issue that strkes Parker 75 owners, on occasion, is that the nib grip will start leaking and need to be replaced. Unfortunately, mine has started it again for the third time in 35+ years of use. With the pen long discontinued, getting even a used grip section is difficult.
I just thought to share this photo before I put them all away again. Happy Valentine's Day to me for my love of the writing pen. :)

4. Least favorite letters to write.
5. Write out the sentence, "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" .
6. The names of the six of your flickr contacts that you'll be tagging ....
I find my handwriting changes a lot day to day, hour to hour, pen to pen. This is actually not a bad day. I find I wind up skipping some letters (sorry Worldworx) cause my eyes are faster than my hand. Never had a real great handwriting, my grade school teachers would attest to that.
I was tagged by sandra.harri10 and Ginny and the Units (writing) for this handwriting game, and if you see your name here, I'm sorry but you are tagged! You have to write the 6 things, your name and flickr name, right or left handed, letters you like, letters you don't like to write, the sentence containing all the letters of the alphabet, and 6 names to tag. There is no actual group for this.

Ever since breaking my pinkie, I write with my left hand for "longer items". If anything, I'd rather type. I was the person in high school that would wanna type up a math assignment if it was possible. I typed every.single.thing I could and teachers loved it. I love typing!
(Ok, this was kinda hasty as I was making someone wait too long!)
After having been invited to the group by Bagirka and then tagged by Riri &
L3N4, here is my post.

3. the letters you like to write the most
4. the letters you like to write the least

You have been challenged - now I can't wait to see your versions! :) (If you make one, please post it in the comments thread.)
Jan. 23rd is National Handwriting Day. Use a pen or pencil to rekindle that creative feeling with a handwritten note, poem, letter or journal entry.
The lost art of handwriting is one of the few ways we can uniquely express ourselves. There's something poetic about grasping a writing instrument and feeling it hit the paper as your thoughts flow through your fingers and pour into words.
Did you know Comedian, actor and educator, Bill Cosby is the most famous pen enthusiast in the world? For years he lent his talent to promoting New York City Fountain Pen Hospital. National Handwriting Day is sponsored by the Writing Instrument Manufacturers Association in honor of John Hancock's birthday on Jan. 23rd.
Hancock was the first to sign the Declaration of Independence and is famous for his large, bold signature.
I collect pens so I thought I'd take a photo to honor this day.

This morning I got a flicker mail showing a photo from Seton Droppers suggesting I write this out. He had got it from someone who had ... I tracked it down to here, a photo taken by tootdood who started it a week ago.
The impedimenta you see on the table is what I need to write a letter with! (With the exception of the calculator which just crept in.) I often need a glue stick too as the envelopes I've got don't stick down very well :-(
this is something i learned from my teacher in speech class and has stuck with me from the moment he said those words. our fears are hard to control and overcome, but that doesn't mean that we won't ever get over it.
how is fear a liar?
fear tells us that there are things out there that we should worry about.
fear tells us that as long as it's there, we will never be able to overcome it.
fear tells us a lot of things.
but it's a liar.
you fear of being unsuccessful and not making it through life because you don't have confidence in yourself.
you fear of getting hurt because you're not strong.
you fear of being alone because you aren't capable of giving yourself a chance to grow and to know what it means to be independent before being dependent.
you fear death because you long to live a full life to see and experience the most of what you can in life.
fear tells you this. but all of it is a lie. you fear because you don't push yourself to understand why you fear these things and to find ways to overcome them.
unfortunately, these are some things i do fear.
i can't exactly say that i have fully grasped and understood these words to their cores because i still have them.
but when that day comes when i finally do overcome them, that's when i'll know fear is a liar.

it is way too far on my 365 to still half ass photos. Today was very busy, because it's my mum's birthday tomorrow on top of that, I couldn't get anything near a decent or interesting photo so somehow i ended up with this.
I got a new phone today and it's ridiculously technical.
This list consists of unsaid and overdue apologies from my friends, family, television shows, movies, books, tumblr, and me.
I slept until 6:40 PM today.
oopsie.
