Anything goes for 2021 - Handmade with love
A couple of my handmade cards and a handmade and hand written tag, all made with love of course. My creative mojo had disappeared but recently I have been a bit more inspired so have enjoyed making cards rather than it being a chore...and the April challenge is making me pick my camera up every day and think about setting up an image.

Sonajhuri Haat in Shantiniketan, West Bengal, is a vibrant weekly market held amidst the sal forests near Bolpur, where local artisans, tribal communities, and folk performers gather to showcase handmade crafts, traditional art, and live Baul music. It’s both a cultural hub and a tourist attraction, offering an authentic rural Bengal experience. The blend of forest setting, folk music, and bustling stalls creates a unique cultural immersion.
Best time to visit: Late afternoon, when performances peak and the market is most lively.
Nearby attractions: Visva-Bharati University, Tagore’s Ashram, and Khoai region.
How to reach: From Bolpur railway station, Sonajhuri Haat is about 15–20 minutes by auto-rickshaw.

With the state of emergency declared in Portugal, we only have the option to stay at home. 🏠 This girl is following all the rules and enjoying her new Little Enchanted World living room. 😍☺️ All of you must stay at home to keep the curve low. Take care of you! ❤️ Thank you for this beautiful photo, Marta Botelho.

Each piece in this "Photage quartet" was hand crafted in a different medium, whether it be stained glass, shells, wire, beads, fiber or vintage sequins . . . all with tender loving care and patience.
Just wanted to share. The two bottom treasures are from dear flickr friends, Terry in Maine, and Jesse in Australia!
Blessings to all who abide in this wonderful land of creative
and marvelous flickrites . . . gifts which keep on giving!
