The business end of a revolving punch, a hand tool for punching 5/64 - 3/16" (2.0 - 4.5mm) round holes in leather, plastic, rubber, canvas, or cardboard.
The height of the assembly is just under three inches (76.2mm).
One and half inch screw driver for mending glasses. A very useful tool (plus spare screws) that came in a Christmas cracker. For Macro Monday theme Hand Tool.
This set of screwdrivers were a novelty in a Christmas Cracker. But believe it or not I have used them.
a hand tool possibility for MM for 11/13
The hole punches are from my teaching days, so they’re venerable and sturdy and made a lot of holes and “confetti”. There are three punches that I still have - a heart, this snowflake, and a star. The punch part is made of metal and would last another 20 years, I’m sure!!

My attempt at the "Crazy Tuesday" theme "Hand tools".
The manufacturer of this specific tool (Wera) was not responsible for the invention of the principle behind it (I think it might have been patented first by Megapro?) but this screw driver is probably my favorite and most used hand tool! It doesn’t use it’s own specific bits but standard interchangeable bits (used on drills etc.), has an extendable front part and a compartment inside the handle, that clicks open and features space for different bits. It really is an incredibly well thought out flexible system and feels like a pretty high quality tool at the same time!

A small monkey wrench that I've had for a while. Always comes in handy :) 2 shots stacked lit with the trusty torch. It will be getting a bit of use as I'm decorating the downstairs loo, The title is also an awesome song by "The Foo Fighters" HMM all and here's to another 10 years :)
Made of fine marble. For crushing and grinding herbs ans spices.
Fait en marbre noble. Pour broyer et piler des herbes et des épices.
The Lahey Clamp, used in surgery to grasp tissue. Certainly not meant to be a gentle instrument it is a very useful hand tool. Three stacked images with BW conversion.
7DOS old Macro Monday, This is the classic monkey wrench, the fore runner for the crescent wrench and also a spin off for the pipe wrench when they added teeth it became the pipe wrench. The monkey wrench was an adjustable wrench shaped like the pipe wrench but no teeth so only used on nuts, bolts and unions. Small wrench this is 1-1/2 inch square frame.
Macro Mondays: "Tool"
A popular hand held multi-tool, with some gratuitous bokeh. Shot on a white acrylic sheet with a constant LED light, holiday lights for the bokeh.
The image is about 6.35 cm (2.5 inches) on the long edge.
My nail clippers, which sadly disintegrated just before I took the photo.
If this is way out I can swap it for my 2018: one photo each day photo as it was my first idea.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)
