It's an ancient Greek believe that spring came across the sea on a boat. One could have the feeling that there is something to this myth...
that's a funny one...taken in a city called Artvin which has the border to former U.S.S.R...
It was 1983 and those days there was military regime in Turkey...
But the reason of my uniform is totally different and funny...
As my father didn't completed his military duty in a proper age so he couldn't resist the pressure and became an officer the age of 35 at last...
by the way as he has already married and made the second child which is my sister, he took us all and travelled to north east border...It was not his desicion just he picked the shortest straw...:))
We stayed there nearly two years with lots of happy memories...
I requested that uniform to be sewed by the tailor of the platoon cause to have this on was something important for me...all the kids in the neighborhood followed me... you would see in the streets lots of kids in those costumes..:))
As they had replicated their fathers' ranks, I just wanted to have a higher rank which you see is a perfect replica of major rank costume...
I don't wanna tell you how I pissed off the carpenter to make me wooden guns,swords and rifles...:)

If one wants to breathe deeply - this is the best place for doing it. There is so much space and a feel of freedom so that one breathes more deeply automatically. - Beautiful sunsets are a special therapy but not always available. ;-)

Wild horses near Dülmen.
The Dülmen Pony was found near the town of Dülmen, in the Merfelder Bruch area where ponies have been documented since the early 14th century. It is believed that the Dülmen developed from primitive types, as it still has some primitive characteristics. The ponies lived in wild herds across Westphalia until the 19th century, when land was divided and separated and the ponies began to lose their habitat. There is only one wild herd left today, owned by the Duke of Croy, that roams 860 acres (3.5 km²) of the Merfelder Bruch. The Dukes of Croy first helped the herd in the mid-19th century.The ponies are left to find food and shelter, must cope with illness and death. Therefore, only the strongest in the herd survive, promoting the toughness of the breed, and making them resistant to disease. Once a year, on the last Saturday of May, the ponies are rounded off and the foals separated. The foals are sold at a public auction, and the mares are returned with only one or two stallions.

Bruce Springsteen in the Born To Run years. I did this one for Rolling Stone but I think it was never published. Was the end of the Hall of Fame section.
