Today was Ellie's last day as part of my pack. She was euthanised at home and went peacefully.
She became blind and deaf, then developed dementia. Last week she was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease for which she had all the symptoms except hairloss. Although she loved her food and short walks she had very little quality of life and it was time.

I HATE CANCER!!!!!
I am so angry!
Now that the community knows my brother has cancer, I am learning of more people that I know in this community who also have, or have had Cancer.
My son, Chris is 13. He has a best friend, who is his age. I just learned that his mother has been diagnosed too.
For a small town of less than 300, I feel that there are too many that have been stricken with Cancer.
They will not clean the arsenic from our water. They say that they are waiting for a less expensive way.
They also raised our water rates.
The word cancer makes me cry. It makes me SO angry!
This is a photo of my brother's beard, and head hair. To try and kill the cancer, they poison the body to poison the cancer.
He now weighs less than 115 pounds. His esophagus is like hamburger from the radiation. Eating hurts. The chemo therapy makes him sick to his stomach and he can't keep much down.
They have pills for the nausea, if you can afford them. One is more than $40.00 USD per pill. The other is more than &15.00 USD
My brother has no insurance. We cannot afford these. We are doing the best that we can.

I miss all of you, and am sorry I am not active right now. I am back to the hospital tomorrow in Reno, NV for 3 days to a week.

The Crescent Valley Townboard ALSO got another waiver from the government so they STILL DO NOT have to take the arsenic out of our drinking water. Several more of my friends have been diagnosed, or died of cancer since the original publishing of this photo.

Well, it came down to a new lens or a 12 week treatment at Ashley and Martin to try and stall the retreat of the follicles. That's follicles as in hair, not bollocks as in eh-hums.
So the mind started ticking and a solution was reached. Go out and get the Canon 70-200 2.8L IS (wore the Spandex to the shop in all the excitement) and take a photo of the moon.
Theory being that with a constant moon on the screen, if I can just get bitten by a werewolf, the hair problem will be solved. Sure, the new found diet of raw flesh doesn't sound appealing and the threat of silver bullets is a concern, but think of the hair!!! One just has to hope that Lycans don't smell other Lycan's butts like their canine cousins.....

While it is easy to prevent by simply wearing sun block and/or hats when it is appropriate, once you develop pre-cancer you will need close dermatologic supervision to monitor its progress. Actinic keratosis has the capability of turning into a fatal skin cancer called squamous cell carcinoma.

1. I have 4 tattoos on my back and regret all of them but one.
2. I was a bit of a wild child as a teenager and used to get in loads of trouble with my parents and the law. I am actually more surprised my parents survived my teenage years than myself... Sorry mom and dad ;)
3. I will be 40 on March 26th but most days I feel like I am 90!
4. I love photography, my own and viewing other peoples. Portraiture is by far
my favourite and I think I owe any talents I have to my dad who was also quite
a photographer in his younger years :)
5. I also owe my bad hairloss to my father as well who has a chrome dome..

The second miracle is the birth of my daugther, who just so happens to be named after my father... She is the strongest little
girl ever and she is going to change the world!
8. I miss Canada and my family every single day and would give anything to be able to just go and visit them anytime I wanted....
9. I love music although I hardly ever listen anymore. I have seen Guns N Roses several times, Motley Crue, Poison, The Cult, Skid Row, Metallica, Tim McGraw, John Michael Montgomery, Tesla, Judas Priest and many more :)
10. My daughter brightens my life everyday, I don't think I would survive if anything
were to happen to her.. although I can get frustrated like any mother, she is the most
important person in the world to me... This kind of love is just amazing!
11. I have sleep apnea and have had it for about 15 years. I sleep with an apnea mask
and could not sleep without it as I feel I cannot breathe.. so needless to say a power outage really SUCKS.
12. I have been to 4 Christmas parties this past week and eating far too much naughty food!!
13. I find Vampires very sexy, not the deformed ugly ones but the hot sexy ones with nice fangs ;)
14. I used to read alot of true crime books and I think it worried my mom a bit ;)

This theme was about how smoking is shown to be glamorous but the after effects can be fatal! The disease that I got was hairloss which involved a lot of editing :D We had to have hollywood glam party dress so I went for a vintage 20's glam theme which is a bit of a risk but I think it will pay off !:)

In the second picture she has lost all her hair to smoking and is sad and crying over her lost hair D: Her hair is all over the floor and she is holding her hairbrush which she will never use again D: She also now has less mney due to fact she used it all up on cigarettes and stuff D:
