Hudhaifah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Whenever the Messenger of Allah () intended to go to sleep, he would place his right hand under his (right) cheek and supplicate: "Allahumma qini 'adhabaka yauma tab'athu 'ibadaka (O Allah! Guard me against Your punishment on the Day when You will resurrect Your slaves)." [At-Tirmidhi]. In a narration in Abu Dawud, Hafsah (May Allah be pleased with her) said: Before going to sleep the Messenger of Allah () would recite this Du'a three times. وعن حذيفة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، كان إذا أراد أن يرقد وضع يده اليمنى تحت خده، ثم يقول: "اللهم قني عذابك يوم تبعث عبادك". Narrated `Aisha: (when the slanderers said what they said about her): I went to my bed knowing at that time that I was innocent and that Allah would reveal my innocence, but by Allah, I never thought that Allah would reveal in my favor a revelation which would be recited, for I considered myself too unimportant to be talked about by Allah in the Divine Revelation that was to be recited. So Allah revealed the ten Verses (of Surat-an-Nur). 'Those who brought a false charge........' (24.11-20) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، وَعَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ وَقَّاصٍ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ حَدِيثِ، عَائِشَةَ حِينَ قَالَ لَهَا أَهْلُ الإِفْكِ مَا قَالُوا ـ وَكُلٌّ حَدَّثَنِي طَائِفَةً مِنَ الْحَدِيثِ ـ قَالَتْ فَاضْطَجَعْتُ عَلَى فِرَاشِي، وَأَنَا حِينَئِذٍ أَعْلَمُ أَنِّي بَرِيئَةٌ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَرِّئُنِي، وَلَكِنْ وَاللَّهِ مَا كُنْتُ أَظُنُّ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُنْزِلُ فِي شَأْنِي وَحْيًا يُتْلَى، وَلَشَأْنِي فِي نَفْسِي كَانَ أَحْقَرَ مِنْ أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ اللَّهُ فِيَّ بِأَمْرٍ يُتْلَى، وَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ جَاءُوا بِالإِفْكِ} الْعَشْرَ الآيَاتِ كُلَّهَا. Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: I heard Messenger of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) saying, "Put on white clothes because they are the best; and use them for shrouding your dead." [At- Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud]. وعن ابن عباس رضى الله عنهما أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: إلبسوا من ثيابكم البياض؛ فإنها من خير ثيابكم، وكفنوا فيها موتاكم" . Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah () said, "A space in Jannah equal to the distance between the middle and the end of a bow will be better than all that upon which the sun rises and sets." Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said, "Allah says, "If My slave intends to do a bad deed then (O Angels) do not write it unless he does it; if he does it, then write it as it is, but if he refrains from doing it for My Sake, then write it as a good deed (in his account). (On the other hand) if he intends to go a good deed, but does not do it, then write a good deed (in his account), and if he does it, then write it for him (in his account) as ten good deeds up to seven-hundred times.' " حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " يَقُولُ اللَّهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ عَبْدِي أَنْ يَعْمَلَ سَيِّئَةً فَلاَ تَكْتُبُوهَا عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَعْمَلَهَا، فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا بِمِثْلِهَا وَإِنْ تَرَكَهَا مِنْ أَجْلِي فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعْمَلَ حَسَنَةً فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً، فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا إِلَى سَبْعِمِائَةٍ ". An-Nu'man bin Bashir (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said, "Du'a (supplication) is worship." It is narrated in a Hadith, “Whoever dies being prepared in the cause of #Allah, will be given continuously the reward for the #good #deeds that he used to do, and he will be rewarded with provision, and he will be kept safe from Fattan (fitna or punishment of grave) and Allah will raise him on the Day of Resurrection free of fright.” (Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadis 2767)

Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) was even shier than a virgin behind her veil. When he saw something which he disliked, we could perceive it on his face. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. وعن أبي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه، قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أشد حياء من العذراء في خدرها، فإذا رأى شيئياً يكرهه عرفناه في وجهه. ((متفق عليه)) .
