'Amra reported that 'A'isha was asked, "What did the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, do in his house?" She replied, "He was a man like other men. He removed the fleas from his garment and milked his sheep."

Narrated Abu Burdah: I entered upon 'Aishah, and she brought a coarse lower garment that was manufactured in the Yemen and a patched garment called mulabbadah. She swore by Allah that the spirit of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was taken in these two clothes.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah used to put his head in my lap when I was menstruating and recite Qur'an."

Al Madinah Al Munawwarah Research and Studies Center (www.madina2013.com) organised an exhibition on the life of the Prophet [pbuh] in Ramadaan 2016 outside Al Masjid An Nawawi. The purpose was to highlight the Prophet’s [pbuh] life, wisdom, characteristics, relationships, mission for Islam and an outline of the series of events during his birth and death. The exhibition comprised banners displaying authentic hadith, calligraphy and made use of installation arts using architectural material to take the audience through a virtual tour in the Prophet’s [pbuh] lifetime.
Al-Husayn (Al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAlīy ibn ʾAbī Ṭālib, 626-680) was the son of 'Ali c.600-661, the Prophet Muhammad's cousin, son-in-law, companion & fourth & last of the orthodox caliphs (al-Khilāfah al-Rāšidin; r.656–661). After his father was assassinated, Husayn was urged to claim the caliphate, but was killed at the Battle of Karbala in Iraq in 680. His head was, reportedly, buried in Askolon and was brought to Cairo in 1153 during the Crusades & a shrine was built for it on the site of this Mosque.
Patron, mosque: designed by 'Ali Mubarak on instructions from 'Abbas I ('Abbas Hilmi Paşa) 1812-1854, son of Tusun Pasha (son of Ali) & grandson of Muhammad 'Ali, Wāli of Egypt & Sudan (r.1849-1854), & Isma'il (İsmail Paşa, Ismail the Magnificent) 1830-1895, grandson of Muhammad 'Ali, Wali of Egypt & Sudan (r.1863-1867) & Khedive of Egypt & Sudan (r.1867-1879).

Hadith: The messenger of God, peace be upon him, said: Husayn is of me, and I'm from him. He who loves Husayn shall be loved by God. Husayn is one of my branches.
I Dërguari i Allahut, salallahu alejhi ue selem, thotë:
"Kur biri i Ademit e lexon suren Es-Sexhde, shejtani largohet duke qarë dhe thotë: "O i mjeri unë! Birit të Ademit iu urdhërua të bëjë sexhde dhe e bëri, për këtë ai do ta fitojë Xhenetin. Mua m'u urdhërua të bëjë sexhde, por unë refuzova dhe për këtë do ta fitojë Xhehenemin."

Abu Isa Muhammad Imam Termezi (Abū ʿĪsā Muḥammad ibn ʿĪsā as-Sulamī aḍ-Ḍarīr al-Būghī at-Tirmidhī) 824-892, was an Islamic scholar, and collector of hadith. He compiled one of the six canonical hadith collections in Sunni Islam, as well as being well versed in Arabic grammar.

Al-Kulayni (Abū Jaʿfar, Muḥammad ibn Yaʿqūb bin Isḥāq al-Kulaynī Al-Rāzī) c.868/9-329/941) was among the greatest Shi'a hadith scholars and the author of al-Kafi, the most authentic Shi'a hadith collection and one the Four Books.
Patron: Dawud Pasha (Dāwūd Bashā, Davit Manvelashvili) c.1767-1851, was born in Tbilisi, of Georgian Christian origin; he was the last Mamluk ruler of Iraq (r.c.1816-1831).
