Habitation sucrière et caféière du XVIII ème siiècle situé à la Presqu'ile de la Caravelle,TARTANE,MARTINIQUE
Situé au milieu d' une vaste plaine , bordée de chaînes montagneuses , Tefia est surtout connu pour son musée ethnographique en plein air , reconstituant la vie rurale traditionnelle sur l' île de Fuerteventura , au XIXe siècle et début XXe...
La population qui vivait en ce lieu se dédiait à l' élevage du bétail et à l'agriculture céréalière ...
L' aridité de la terre et les faibles précipitations annuelles imposèrent aux habitants de mettre au point un système complexe de récupération des eaux : fossés, citernes , filtres, tuyaux et puits .
Dans cet écomusée très intéressant , tout a été restauré avec les matériaux d' origine .
On peut voir par ex sur l' angle du mur vertical à droite des pierres plus foncées , d' origine volcanique . Le reste des murs étant fait de sable ,de chaux ou de boue .
Uno de los barrios que integran el municipio de Ruiloba, cercano a Comillas, en el occidente de Cantabria.
Contemplamos aquí una de las tradicionales casonas cántabras existentes en este municipio, de 800 habitantes censados y muchos mas que acuden como veraneantes. Muy cerca, en la finca de al lado, un magnífico ejemplar de Kaki, con enormes y lustrosos frutos que suelen ser alimento de muchos pájaros, en especial los estorninos.
Detalle que llama la atención del conjunto de Ruiloba es la gran cantidad de tapias, elevados muros que cierran las fincas, de modo que es muy dificil, salvo que vayamos provistos de una escalera o una banqueta, fotografiar estos parajes tan bellos.

A proximité de Tournai, le village de Willemeau (649 habitants) a été fréquemment touché par d’importantes inondations. Afin de résoudre ce problème, il était devenu urgent de construire deux ouvrages de rétention des eaux sur le Ruisseau de la Place de Taintignies (bassin versant de 503 hectares), affluent du Ruisseau de Barges.
Après une étude hydrologique approfondie, en lieu et place du traditionnel bassin d’orage en béton, le Service public de Wallonie et la Province de Hainaut ont opté pour la mise en oeuvre d’une solution innovante et écologique : la zone d’immersion temporaire [ZIT].
La ZIT est constituée d’une digue en terre placée sur le cours d’eau qui permet la retenue des eaux sur des terrains naturels ou semi-naturels lors de périodes caractérisées par une pluviométrie abondante.
Ces aménagements s’inscrivent dans une démarche de développement durable. Ainsi la gestion des terres d’excavation a été optimisée dans un souci de réduction de l’empreinte écologique/carbone du chantier. Au strict bénéfice du développement de la nature, le chantier s’est même offert une pause le temps de laisser nicher un oiseau protégé, l’avocette élégante !
