The last person standing contemplates a world torn apart by greed and war. Now there's a cheery thought. HSS, everybody!
One of the several million feral cats on the island of Rhodes, but a pretty one nonetheless! HSS everybody! :)

Finally, we have some snow! Happy Sliders Sunday.
I spotted this guy training at a local pond in the middle of Newcastle's Exhibition Park, a venue that is usually only frequented by ducks, moorhens and swans. It really was rather surreal... Processed with lashings of HDR. HSS, everybody! :)

Taken on iPhone at Gibside in the Derwent Valley near Newcastle, this view from the orangery has always been one of my favourites. HSS, everybody! :)
Not many people realise that Vincent had an evil twin brother called Barry who occasionally visits Earth through an inter-dimensional portal to wreak havoc in space-time, turning the land and sky into a Barry Van Goghian nightmare. This happened to me a few weeks ago on my way to work; unfortunately, it only lasted a few minutes and I was still on time to lead morning assembly in school. HSS, everybody! :)
Yes, I've done it before, but it's still one of my favourite compositions of Newcastle's amazing bridges. Processed in glorious antiquatavision. HSS, everyone! :)
Some yards are immaculate ...others, well there are corners where even snakes fear to tread!
Happy Sliders Sunday!

Having just read the contents of the COP26 agreement, I looked out of the window and, just for a second, thought I saw the sky boiling. Better crack open the factor 2,000 then. HSS!
It started life as a display in a model shop and ended up like this after I'd applied smoke and mirrors. HSS, everybody!
