A very early Boeing 777-200 (line No:32), this aircraft was delivered to Thai Airways International as HS-TJB in Jun-96.
The aircraft was withdrawn from service in Mar-20 at the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic when it was stored at Bangkok (BKK). It's now over 26 years old and hasn't returned to service. Given Thai International's financial problems it's likely to be permanently retired. Updated 12-Oct-22.
Unusual occupant of Bay 50 at Kai Tak... this Thai 777 took an extended stay in Hong Kong that day after its onward trip to Taipei was cancelled due to a typhoon.
