This public art piece is called "The Norse Approach"

 

The sculpture was funded by Fingal County Council and overseen by the Howth Tidy Towns committee.

 

This is one of 3 wooden sculptures overlooking Howth Harbour located beside The Old Courthouse on Harbour Road.

the piece is called "The Merrow" (this is a Celtic Mermaid)

 

Financed by Fingal County Council and overseen by the Howth Tidy Towns committee there are 3 wooden sculptures overlooking Howth Harbour.

 

Created by Mullingar-based artist Richie Clarke the three sculptures have a maritime theme and are carved from Cedar wood.
