Het is hier misschien iets rustiger, maar dat wil niet zeggen dat ik heb stilgezeten. Mijn archief is weer aangevuld met wat leuks. Bij gebrek aan treinen in eigen land trok ik nog eens naar de Brabantroute in Nederland aangezien de Betuweroute weer gesloten was in Duitsland. Ik twijfelde nog tussen een foto van die dag, maar ik hou het voor deze foto toch even in eigen land.

De spoorweg operatoren schieten in België tegenwoordig als paddestoelen uit de grond. Naast Medway, TCA en TCS is ook Certus Rail Solutions (dochteronderneming van Strukton in België) een frisse nieuwkomer op ons spoornet. Zij kochten de 2707 en 2731 van NMBS over waarna de locs in de TW van Antwerpen-Noord voorzien werden van bestickering. Zo'n 27 met alternatieve kleurtjes, je bent er voor of er tegen. Het staat de loc in ieder geval beter dan wat de graffiti "artiest" er van maakt. Vooral de kant met het rode front bevalt me eigenlijk wel goed.

Anyway, onder het motto "heel lang rijdt het niet meer" trok ik gisteren richting Kapellen en Ekeren. Certus ging namelijk wat werkmaterieel overbrengen van Roosendaal naar Gent-Zeehaven, met een tussenstop op Antwerpen-Noord. Zo zien we hier de 2731 met een balastploeg, een onderstopper, twee Gottwald kranen en een materiaalwagen de drie fotografen passeren in Kapellen.
