Mit Wagen 522 schied kürzlich der letzte der drei gebraucht aus Herne übernommenen Citaro G aus. Die Wagen 521 bis 523 wurden 2015 von der Straßenbahn Herne - Castrop-Rauxel (HCR) übernommen, wo sie mit den Nummern 53, 54 und 56 im Einsatz waren. Nach anfänglichen Einsätzen auf E-Wagen fand man sie schließlich auch im regulären Liniendienst.
Als der Bus sich noch als Wagen 54 bei der HCR befand, entstand diese Ansicht in Wanne-Eickel. Zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt wartet der Gelenkbus die Wendezeit der Linie 362 ab. (07.10.2015)

R1587. 7F 2-8-0 53807 and 4F 0-6-0 44558 at Highbridge Station on the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway.
This line used to run between Bath and Bournemouth but there was an important branch line to Highbridge. It was jointly operated by the Midland Railway and the London & South Western Railway, later the London, Midland & Scottish Railway and the Southern Railway, but the time of this photograph the line was split between the Western and Southern Regions of British Railways. The dividing point was at Templecombe and, as the Highbridge branch is north of there, it came under the Western Region.
The pair had taken over the train at Bournemouth from rebuilt Bulleid Pacific 35005 CANADIAN PACIFIC which had brought the train from London Waterloo.

Across the country, American workers, their families, and small businesses are struggling with rising health care costs and policies that put quality, affordable care out of reach. A new report by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) published in the magazine Health Affairs estimates that spending on health care grew to 17.3 percent of the U.S. economy – a record and the largest one-year jump since 1960.
The urgent need for health reform has never been more clear – failure is not an option, according to experts commenting on the new report.
