The spring haven't arrived yet to Finland. No blooming to be seen so i haven't been very active with photography lately. This LE shot is from last summer. Sadly my Canon 50D's noise control even with 400 iso is crappy and i have hard time to create pleasing results with it. Even with photoshop i cant seem to fix the problems often. I now days mainly just stick to 50d+sigma 50mm f.1.4 combo, which i love. Take care!

I haven`t visited Lake Moogerah for many years due to the high water levels in the dam after the floods a few years ago. I was headed to the area for a shoot so I headed down a little earlier to check out the water levels and how far out of the water the dead trees were , unfortunately the water level hadn`t dropped as far as I hoped .

I shot this pano about 3am

Its a eight shot stitch in the Moonlight as the clouds blew through with a little lightpainting in the foreground

You can see some stars on the left side in the gap in the clouds

I haven't done any water drops for a while. I spent this evening doing some of these with my daughter's scout group. The best of them are here:-

I haven't seen any cardinals here since the fall. Maybe I'll see them again when winter food gets scarce. Took this photo last winter, hoping it will bring me some luck and we'll see them again.

I haven't been in here much because I've been wallowing in self pity. I was just diagnosed with cancer and it's located in my neck. The doctor is pretty sure it's curable and he has a 5 year plan. In the mean time lots can happen. I'll probably lose about 30 lbs, could lose most of my teeth and could lose the ability to talk. I'll be starting radiation and chemo later this month. It still hasn't completely sunk in and I'm still having trouble talking about it. I'll still be looking at your work but I just may not be contributing as much

I haven't been to Penmon for a while and after posting yesterdays shot decided today would be as good a day as any .....some wonderful wave surges over the close reefs made for several aborted exposures while i pulled the camera away form the incoming waves ....after many close shaves and many splashes over myself and the camera I managed this shot .....

We haven't had a decent sunrise for almost two weeks. I ran out of the house as soon as I realized I was onto something, and was so mad at myself for not bringing out the 12mm lens.

I haven’t been out photographing over the Xmas period opting to spend more time with family before work starts again.

Here’s an image of a stormy sea at Filey from sept 2020, that’s our van site on the right that was getting full on 50mph winds and gusts, a great weekend.

Haven't be able to get out for variously reasons to shot lately so here's one I made at the beginning of the year.

COVID numbers are continuing to rise around the world. So many people are in lockdown and not able to get out, many have been sick and have had loved ones die, and so many, including me, who haven't been able to hug their families since the beginning of this pandemic. And we have no idea when the end is in sight, or if things will ever get back to "normal."

When I saw this little vine wrapped around a post in a nearby garden, I thought of how much all of us need a hug right about now. So I'm sending out a virtual hug to all of you.

I haven't been to the beach for a while as the weather has been so dull, but today is a day of sun and showers so I have to go. Only in the past is by The Be Good Tanyas. I miss the beach if I haven't been for a while.

We haven't had them on the garden for a while but ths year we were honoured to have 2 wild rabbits as regular visitors. It was great to see them in the garden doing whatever it is rabbits do.

Haven't had good cloudscapes lately so glad to see this one.

I haven't posted this before... It bothered me that his eyes were different sizes, I guess... but I keep coming back to it, because of his earnest, friendly face. Guru makes a lot of eye contact--one of the things I really love about him. That's why I'm choosing this image for this week's Happy Caturday group theme: a photo we love of a cat that we love.

I haven't taken the dog for a walk down here for some time preferring the open space of Thorton Hough up the Wirral, where she can chase her ball until her heart's content before sulking and refusing to bring it back once she's had enough.

The treats have also had to take a back seat. If you have a black labbie you will know only too well that food is their number one priority, closely followed by ball chasing, and hair shedding!

Anyway the sky looked fantastic the other morning and so a slight detour to The National Waterways Museum. The sky got more and more colourful until it turned that bright red that sometimes looks unnatural.

I took this shortly before the vividness took hold as I didn't want people to think I'd been playing with the sliders:)

I haven't been here (Joy Mountains) since our semi lockdown from the middle of May. I'm glad I was here again. Faced this beauty, I thank God and pray.

Mount Hehuan is a 3,416-metre-high (11,207 ft) mountain in Central Taiwan. The peak lies on the borders of Nantou and Hualien counties and is located within Taroko National Park. Hehuanshan is a popular destination in central Taiwan. The 3,421-metre east peak and 3,422-metre north peak of Hehuanshan are both higher than the main peak.

Mount Hehuan is part of the Central Mountain Range.

I haven’t post for a long time because of new virus. I stayed at home and thought that I might not take pictures outdoor anymore. I have taken about 100,000 pictures since 2014. I took pictures with the Nikon D5200, D7200, D800, D850, and Sony RX1R. It is time to retouch and montage all my old photos. If you can’t take new pictures, then you can also retouch your old photos. We planted this tree as a little twig many, many years ago... it sits proudly over our pond.

Haven't seen this many people out for a CFE train basically ever, enough to get the townspeople here questioning on Facebook why there was so many people at the tracks.

Haven't managed to get out with my camera for a couple of months for various reasons, this morning I went out with the intention of using my newly acquired Olympus OM2n film camera but I took the wrong tripod mount with me, so ended up using the EM10 instead.
