We returned from a Christmas Eve dinner to see shreds from two of Mum's presents on the carpet. There was also a third attempt which may have been successful had we been out for a longer time. Two were candy bars while the third was a box of chocolates. The guilty party is trying to use his puppy eyes to get out of the dog house.

Somehow, this siamang managed to get a a hold of what looks to have been a zip-lock bag at one time. I watched as he (I'm assuming this is a he) tore the bag up. What you see is the guilty look after wards.

My guilty pleasure: the Sookie Stackhouse books that inspired the HBO show, True Blood. I got into the show first, and when the finale aired last week, I jumped right into the book series. I read 7 books in 4 days. This is me reading the 8th one - I am trying to read a little slower than I did on the first seven books, because I have to wait till next May before Book 9 comes out, and next summer for Season Two of the show...

Of making these poor boatmen ferry me the length of the city at the hottest time of day.
Don't worry, we all took it in turns under the bit of shade, and sucked polo mints. :)
So I just went to a Foo Fighters gig and also have Guns n Roses, Pearl Jam, and Counting Crows among my fav bands. However, I have a wide & varied taste and much to my daughters delight I quite like Taylor Swift songs so don't turn them off when she plays them in the house/car.
For we;re here visiting guilty pleasures. Note - poster is on my daughters bedroom wall not mine ;-)
